It was nearly a month since she landed in Delhi and now she was already in his house.

Khushi was appointed by Arnav's sister to train his live-in girlfriend, Lavanya. And she grabbed the opportunity with both hands that was given to her on a silver platter!

Initially as promised, she was able to get a job in his office, but that was not proving much helpful. Since the time she joined his office, he had done nothing but prove how sick he was! Letting her fall from the first floor of the office, insulting her, humiliating her for her poor background. How she hated the very sight of that man. She hated how he looked at her, how he held her in his arms when they met first, how he talked to her since then. All that proved whatever she had heard of him was true. He was a cheap, arrogant, male chauvinist brat who did not know how to respect women. He could stoop to any low levels to misbehave with women.

Not that she doubted the people who told her so, but a tiny part of her wanted him to prove them wrong.

Oh, how difficult human minds work, especially girls'!

But she was not one of those girls. And right now, her mission was to avenge the injustice done by him, to someone very dear to her.

How dare he let her fall from the first floor in their office, on very first day? And then the audacity of him to send her to a building which was on the verge of collapsing. How she wished she could leave him alone there when he pretended to have come to her rescue.

As if she would believe him! She very well knew that the building was in bad state, and she had her defense set up. She was about to leave when she was alerted that he was on his way to help her!

So she stayed!

But when he came face-to-face, all she wanted was to strangle him with her bare hands. She would have very well done it, had she not fainted due to dehydration.

"I am so sorry Khushi ji. You had to go through this." She was later having a conversation with the only person who was well aware of her plan, who was helping her and who was her confidante.

Her friend, Shyam ji!

"No Shyam ji. It is not your fault. I knew what he was capable of. And besides, I wouldn't have been trapped there anyway had we not decided to see if our plan was working, right?"

"Ji Khushi ji. You are right. So, one thing is clear, he is trying to show he cares for you, as we expected. I would give it a week when he starts being bolder with his advances"

Khushi flinched at that. This was not something she was used to, a man coming so dangerously close to her time and again. But then that's what his reputation was, wasn't it? In fact, that is what led to them having this discussion and the mess her life was going to become!

"Do you think I can then gather enough proofs at least now, Shyam ji?"

"I am hoping so. Gaining his confidence is important. You've to pretend showing your naïve side and continue being around him. The fact that Anjali has appointed you as Lavanya's trainer is a bonus"

"Hmm. I agree. By the way, Anjali ji seemed like a nice woman Shyam ji. Are you sure she-"

"I never said she was as corrupt Khushi ji. I genuinely liked her when we married 2 years ago. But then I didn't know a lot of things. The fact that she never admonishes Arnav is first thing, it is hard to believe that she is not aware of what has transpired in their house, right under her nose. And then she shares the same Raizada blood, doesn't she?"

"hmm. I only hope our plan doesn't harm any innocent people Shyam ji."

"Me neither Khushi ji. If you have a reason to destroy ASR, I have a solid reason too. And you know it very well."

"I know. Anyway, so what's the next step?"

Very soon Khushi realized that Lavanya Kashyap was also being used and manipulated by HIM! She felt sorry for the girl!

But that still did not help that Lavanya was going to be used as a pawn in their game! 'So what, at least she will be saved from the jerk' she convinced herself, when she felt bad about using innocent girl in their plan.

And so they rolled the dice!

'This Diwali night, your downfall begins Mr. Arnav Singh Riazada'. Enjoy last few days of happiness'  Khushi said in her mind as she went to bed that day.
