He sighed and set his plate back on the table. "Well my name's Riley Johnson, I'm 26, and I was married for two years. My wife, Tori, passed away during the first day of the virus breakout. I really do miss her she was all I had and our dog Max but he ran away when I was out in town one day, I doubt he's still out there. So for the past few weeks I have been here alone. I have seen other people out there but they are all no good. An apocalypse can completely change a person, good thing it hasn't gotten to you or I though. I worked doing small construction jobs on and off. Growing up my grandpa taught me basic survival skills and how to hunt. So all that leads me to now a walking dead killer." He laughed a little. I smiled at him. He continued. "The day after my wife passed I nearly killed myself I was in a deep depression, I'm sure you know what that feels like. I held the gun to my head and when I pulled the trigger nothing happened.. I sat there continuing to pull the trigger but still nothing happened. The gun was empty and I dropped it to the ground. I sat there thinking to myself thinking maybe there still was some good for me to do in this world and look.. I saved you." He smiled, "what about you?" "My name is Mabelline Scott. I'm 18 and was a senior in highschool. When the breakout happened I was with my boyfriend, Chris. We ended up back at my house with my parents and little sister. I'm sure you can guess what happened if you found me alone. I was really in love with him.." without thinking about it I found my hand holding onto the pendant. "I'm guessing he's the one behind that necklace." My eyes got a little watery. "He gave it to me on Valentine's day. It's my only reminder that he was real.. that anything we had, our past, it really happened. I know he's still here with me." Riley looked down, "I know the feeling, I feel Tori is still here with me too.."
