Once Bitten

Part Forty-One

~Mae's P.O.V.~

We got back to John and Lenah's room and she pulled out a chair for me to sit. I have lots of different things you can wear she opened her closet and pulled out her fanciest things "hmm.. I think I'm going to wear this." she said as she set aside a pretty floral dress. She held out a nice shirt, "like this?" "not really my style, mind if I look?" "no problem." I got up and pushed aside each piece of clothing looking for something suiting. In the back I saw a strapless short bláck dress and pulled it out. I held it against me, looking at myself in the mirror. "you think it's too much?" "No, no, no, it'd look amazing on you! Go ahead slip it on while I grab you some shoes and stuff." I got into the dress and admired myself once again in the mirror. Lenah approached me from behind, "You look beautiful." I smiled, "I've never really wore a dress before besides trying one on in a store once. Never really got dressed in anything besides a t-shirt and some jeans." I laughed a little. "Well then we'll make tonight extra special." She insisted I sit back down and handed me a pair of bláck slip on shoes and walked behind me putting a pearl necklace on my neck. and gave me a silver bracelet to wear. I waited for her to finish getting ready and we both left the room going down the hallway. Nobody was insight. We get to the back and she grabbed the handle swinging open the door. Everyone was gathered together in one area all laughing and having a good time and as soon as we step foot outside Riley was standing right there. One look at me and he looked lost in his own thoughts, his eyes were wide and his most slightly open. Lenah nudged me, "Looks like someone likes what they see." she joked. I walked up to Riley and he wrapped his arms around my waist, he was still speechless.
