Chapter Thirteen: Busted.

Another three weeks have passed since that night, so now the angels have been together for nine weeks or so, they are definitely in the honeymoon stage right now, but that probably won't last forever, oh well, story time!

"Dark Pit, why were you out so early this morning? I heard the doors to the temple open at around dawn." Viridi says as she enters the kitchen which is where Pittoo was currently hanging out, drinking a strong coffee.

"Uhh-" Dark Pit flickered his eyes around the room nervously, sweating a little. 'Think Dark think!'

"Oh I was just taking a border patrol around your land, Y'know in case we're attacked or whatever..." He says quickly, sipping from the mug he was using.

Viridi narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously, walking past him with a glare, as if to tell him that she knew he was lying, which he totally was...

He sighed in relief as soon as she left the room, running a hand through his hair.

When he was hanging out with Pit in Skyworld yesterday, the lighter was being extra clingy, not that he minded of course, Pit was just too cute to say no to.

So in the end he ended up staying the night there...

~FLASHBACK~

"C'mon Pittoo can't you stay here?" Pit asked his boyfriend as he lied on top of him in his bed, holding him tightly.

"I would but Viridi would be mad at me, and despite how short she is, her being angry is actually kinda terrifying." Dark Pit reasons, holding Pit just as tightly.

"Awww, but!" The light angel protests as he looks at him pleadingly. "I'll miss youuu." He whines.

Pittoo looks at him and sighs. "I know baby, but- I don't know..."

Pit smiles softly. "You can always come back here to escape her wrath if you need to." He says reassuringly, his tone soft.

Dark Pit looks him in the eyes, about to tell him no again when he realises something. 'Wait a sec, since when did I fucking care about what Viridi thinks or what she would do to me if I stepped out of line? Yeah I rely on her to help me fly, sure, but that doesn't give her the right to control what I do with my life!' He thought to himself.

"Okay." He finally says while smiling at Pit as his eyes lit up.

"Really?"

"Really." He chuckles.

"Wooo!" Pit cheers as he sits up happily. "We should celebrate by getting ice cream!" He says, quickly getting off of Pittoo and the bed and running out of the room and towards the kitchen.

Dark Pit just shakes his head with a smile before he too gets up to go follow him.

~PRESENT~

He smiles at the memory, and at how Pit looked when sleeping next to him, he was just too beautiful for his own good.

Pittoo somehow woke up at five in the morning cause he had to go to the bathroom, and since he couldn't fall back asleep afterwards, he got Palutena up, which she was not happy about, to fly him back home, in hopes that no one would notice his return, but Viridi did.

He sighs, just finishing off his coffee when Phosphora floats in, just waking up it seems. "Hey." She says quietly, heading towards the fridge.

"Morning." Dark Pit replies, putting the mug in the sink after rinsing it.

"Did you seriously come home at six this morning?" She asks, taking out a carton of iced coffee from the fridge then closing it's door.

"You heard the door too huh? I couldn't fall back asleep so I got Palutena to fly me back here 'cause I thought I'd be sneaky, guess that failed." He replies with a defeated, but slightly amused chuckle.
