Dark Pit ran all the way to the area in the temple where Palutena treated her wounded soldiers.

He reaches his destination and stops to catch his breath. Damn you'd think he'd be fitter than this since he's a skilled fighter and all, but he was just in a battle so he's most likely just tired from that, right? Anyway...

"Pittoo." Palutena says as she opens a door and sees him standing there and panting. "Before you ask, he'll be alright, he's just unconscious." She adds with a soft voice.

The dark angel just nods, finally managing to breathe normally again. "Good." He breaths out in relief.

The Goddess just chuckles, opening the door and motioning for Dark Pit to follow her through it, which he does.

Upon entering the room he immediately spots Pit lying on a bed, his clothes removed (besides his shorts of course) and a bandage wrapped around the area where he was shot.

Pittoo bites his lip and approaches, the guilt he felt earlier coming back to him again, stronger this time, if that's possible.

Palutena noticed his sudden mood change and put a hand on his shoulder after moving to stand next to him. "Don't blame yourself, it was just bad timing. Pit will tell you that himself when he wakes up."

Dark Pit just sighs, eyes closing. "I know, I just hope I can make it up to him somehow." He replies quietly, moving his hand to hold Pit's.

The Goddess smirks slightly. "I know a way..." She trails off, her voice suggestive.

Pittoo blushes slightly and quickly shoots her a playful glare,
To which she just laughed at.

"Let's change the subject." Palutena suddenly says, walking to the corner of the room and grabbing two chairs for them to sit on next to the bed.

Dark Pit raises an eyebrow but doesn't question her. Instead he grabs one of the chairs from her hand and sits down on it, Palutena following suit.

"Since Viridi has banished you from the Nature Temple," Lady Palutena starts. "I want to offer you a place to stay, that place being Skyworld, of course." She says with a small smile.

Pittoo looks at her in surprise. Like yeah he was with Pit but he didn't think she would want him to be around all the time. Guess he thought wrong.

"Really?" He asked, wanting to make sure that this wasn't one of her weird jokes.

"Of course, I can't let you be without a home now can I? Pit would never let me live it down either if I didn't offer." She replies with a laugh. "I'm not just doing this for him though, I've grown quite fond of you, too, you'll make a great son-in-law to me." She adds with a wink, causing Dark Pit to look down at his lap as he hides his blush.

'Pit and I have been together for what, almost three months and his adoptive mother is already suggesting marriage. Jeeze.'

"I gladly accept your offer." He replies, chuckling, then pauses and gives her a curious look. "Do I just move into Pit's room?" He asks.

Palutena hums as she thinks about the question. "You might as well do just that, but I can have one of the spare rooms set up for you in case you ever get sick of each other, but I doubt that would happen." She laughs.

Pittoo just smiles, silently agreeing with her.

He turns his head towards where Pit lay when he heard a groan from him.

"Pit?"

"Uuuggghhh."

"Good to see that you're awake." Palutena says with a relieved expression.
