"Mom! Dad! Where are you taking them?" I run down the hall following the guards escorting your parents away from you.

"Y/N, honey! Go back to the room. You don't need to be here," your father yells back. Then I realize where I am. They are floating both my parents.

I wake with a start. The same nightmare plagues my sleep except one thing keeps changing. I no longer remember their faces or voices; it changes each night. Today marks seven years, 269 days, and five hours since I had been thrown in prison for assaulting a guard. Now that I am awake, I lay on my bed looking up at open space. I stare at the stars, waiting for the day that I will end up being floated just like my parents. I close my eyes, trying to remember my parents. Soon, two guards are standing at my door. The only people I interact with are the guards so I knew it was them. I hope it was Brian or Chuck. They are the only two who talk to me while in solitary, and I've been in solitary for a long time. Unfortunately, it was not them. It's only a couple of days until my eighteenth birthday so I can understand why they want to float me a little early. It's not like I would get a good review. Before being placed permanently in solitary, I would punch a guard every few weeks just to be sent here for some peace and quiet. It was quite violent for a ten-year-old.

"Prisoner 234, face the wall." I turn and face the wall. They open the door and I feel them grab my arms. They don't want me to fight and hurt one of them again. One of the guards puts something on my wrist. I flinch at the pain it causes but the guards hold on tight.

"What is that? What are you doing?" My voice is scratchy from the lack of use these last few weeks. I try to pull away but when I hear them pull out the shock lash, I start to panic and try to make my way out of the door. But before I could break free, a sharp pain explodes between my shoulder blades and my vision goes black. I pass out, not knowing what they are going to do next.

Bellamy's P.O.V.

I board the ship at the last second. I find a seat next to a girl who is fast asleep. Apparently, quite a few people struggled and got drugged cause a lot of people on this floor are asleep. She looks very peaceful in her sleeping state. I get distracted by someone yelling levels above.

"Stay in your seats if you want to live." I try to look up to see if Octavia is somewhere up there, but I don't see her. Suddenly, the parachutes deploy, and we are thrown around. People are screaming, I close my eyes, praying we will make it to the ground safely. As soon as we have stopped moving, I make my way to the door. Kids start flooding toward the door, wanting out.

"Back it up guys," I say assertively.

"Stop!" a girl yells. She makes her way forward and I see that it is Clarke Griffin.

"The air could be toxic."

"If the air is toxic, we are all dead anyway," I say.

"Bellamy?" I turn to see Octavia making her way forward.

"It's the girl that hid under the floor," many people whisper.

"My God, look how big you are," I say. She wraps her arms around me in a big hug.

"What the hell are you wearing? A guard's uniform?"

"Borrowed it to get on the dropship," I explain.

"Someone's gotta keep an eye on you."

"Where's your wristband?" Clarke asks.

"Do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a year," Octavia spits out.

"No one has a brother!" someone yells.

"That's Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden in the floor," another girl says. I grab Octavia before she starts a fight.
