After an hour or so, I need to stop as my head is spinning.

"Bell, I have to stop," I say quietly. He doesn't hear me but when my hand falls from his grip he stops and looks at me right as I start falling. He catches me and sits me against a tree.

"Hey, hey. What's wrong?" he says. I close my eyes and take a couple of deep breaths.

"Ash, hey, look at me." I open my eyes and meet his. His hand reaches up and touches the bruise on my temple and I pull away, whacking my head on the tree behind me.

"Ow." I let my head fall forward into his hand. He chuckles a little.

"How did you get the bruise on your head?" I look at him.

"I was trying to help Murphy when you hung him but someone hit me to stop me from helping," I say quietly, averting my eyes.

"Oh, you saw that?" I nod.

"Are you mad at me for that?"

"No, just a little disappointed. I understand why though," I say.

"Hey, you guys okay?" Finn had come back to check on us.

"She's a little banged up. Needed to sit for a second. We are coming," Bellamy says. He helps me stand but my head starts spinning again.

"I hate being this stupid damsel in distress," I say as I lean against him.

"Just let me help you now. You need help to get back to camp," he says. I nod.

"Here, get on my back. I'll carry you back." He helps me get on his back and as he walks back, I am lulled to sleep by his footsteps and heartbeat.
