After some deliberation, we make our way to where Bellamy tossed the radio. The person introduced herself as Raven Reyes and she is an engineer on the Ark, well was an engineer on the Ark. We come across a river and we all wade in and start searching. Bellamy comes over to me while we are searching.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he asks. He tries to touch my arm but I pull away. I don't say anything and keep searching the river.
"Ash, I would never hurt you," he says. I turn and look up at him to see some tears in his eyes.
"That's the thing, I don't feel safe around you. Out of everything you could do, I was fine with you shooting Jaha and I understood why you followed through with the hanging of Murphy. But when you threw Raven against the tree, that was the first time I haven't felt safe around you," I explain. I move a little more up the river. I leave him to his thoughts. Finally, by some miracle, I find the radio.
"Hey! I found it!" Everyone runs over and Raven takes the radio.
"Can you fix it?" Clarke asks.
"Maybe, but it'll take half the day just to dry out the components to see what's broken."
"As I said, it's too late," Bellamy says. Clarke marches over to Bellamy.
"Do you have any idea what you did? Do you even care?!"
"You asked me to help. I helped."
"Three hundred people are gonna die today because of you!" Before another fight can break out, Raven speaks.
"Hold up. We don't have to talk to the Ark. We just have to let them know we're down here, right?"
"Yeah, but how do we do that with no radio?" Finn asks. The smile on Raven's face showed that she had a very stupid idea.
"Come with me."
"We need to launch those flares ASAP if we have any hope of saving those people. Finn, get that control panel to camp. You, pull out those fire circuits in one piece or they won't work. Clarke, can I have a hand?" Everyone is running around and we are all trying to beat time. Finally, I have to sit as my head is throbbing. Between the events of the last couple of days, I haven't remembered to eat and I am starving. Dark spots dot my vision as I look around but the darkness takes over and I fall backward into unconsciousness.
"Ash?" I open my eyes to see Finn leaning over me. I try to sit up but the dark dots appear again. Finn helps me sit up.
"What's wrong?" he asks. Before I can speak, my stomach rumbles, letting him know that I am very hungry.
"When was the last time you ate?"
"I don't remember," I say. He gives me a soft smile.
"Too busy to remember?" I nod, giving him a small smile as well. I then remember what we were doing before I passed out.
"Did they see the flares?" I ask suddenly. Finn helps me stand up and I have to lean on him a little for support.
"We can only hope."
"Ash!" Bellamy yells. I can feel Finn tense up a little.
"How long have you guys been looking for me?" I ask.
"About 20 minutes or so. Bellamy seems really worried," Finn says. I can hear the disdain in his voice.
"I don't want to talk to him right now," I say. We decide to take me back to the dropship and Finn helps me. Bellamy yells one more time before Finn responds.
"I've got her. She's okay," Finn yells back. Bellamy comes into view and rushes over when he sees Finn helping me stand.
"Are you okay?" He tries to touch my arm but I pull away again.
"Yeah. Just a bit sore. Running around all day makes one sore," I say. Bellamy looks hurt that I pulled away from him.
"It might be best if you stay away from me for a while Bellamy," I say softly. At that, Finn helps me into the dropship, leaving Bellamy outside, alone.
