Ash's P.O.V.

Before Bellamy entered the ship, I knew Murphy wouldn't let both of us go. He tied me to the ladder and gags me so I can't yell for Bellamy to not come in. Bellamy enters the ship, sees me, and has no time to react as Murphy pushes Jasper out of the dropship and recloses the door.

"This is not what we agreed on. Both were to be let go," Bellamy says. I hold eye contact with him, trying not to cry.

"We didn't agree on anything. Plus, if she is going to love you, better she see this to get over you," Murphy says. Murphy has Bellamy start tying a noose and I realize what he is going to do. I try to pull away from the ladder but Murphy shoots the gun at my feet.

"Stop! Don't hurt her!" Bellamy yells.

"Then do what I said. And you," he turns his attention to me, "stop fighting or I'll be forced to hurt you."

"Bellamy? Bellamy! Are you okay?" Octavia yells through the radio. Tears start streaming down my face and I cry silently.

"You want her to know you're alive? Start tying," Murphy demands.

"Bellamy! Do you copy?" Octavia tries again. Bellamy glances up at me then turns to Murphy. Murphy allows him to talk through the radio.

"I'm fine. Just a misfire. Now stop worrying about me and get back to work, all of you... And tell Raven to hurry her ass up," Bellamy says quickly. Murphy takes the radio away.
"All right, that's long enough. Tie those two ends together." Bellamy does as Murphy says. I hear a muffled 'Get that door open' from below me and I realize that there are people in the floor below us.

"All right. Now get up and toss it over." Bellamy stands and tosses the rope over a bar.

"What do you want me to say? You want me to apologize? I'm... I'm sorry," Bellamy says.

"You got it all wrong Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt, and then... then I want you to die." Murphy grabs a box and puts it under where the rope is.

"Stand on it. Put it over your head," Murphy demands.

"This is insane. The grounders could..."

"Put it over your head!" Bellamy hesitates. He looks over at me.

"At least let me say goodbye," he says. Murphy looks over at me and sees me crying but I haven't moved.

"Thirty seconds. That's all I'm giving you." Bellamy quickly drops down in front of me and takes the gag out of my mouth. His hands rest on both sides of my face.

"I'm sorry. I don't want you to see this," he says softly. He presses his forehead against mine.

"I love you Bellamy," I say through tears.

"I love you too," he says back.

"Ten seconds." Bellamy presses his lips against mine. I never want this to end but then Murphy pulls him away from me.

"Please, don't do this Murphy," I beg. I go silent as Murphy presses the gun against my head. Bellamy steps onto the box and grabs the rope.

"Put it over your head," he demands. Bellamy does it. He looks over at me. Close your eyes he mouths before turning his attention to Murphy.

"Happy now?" Bellamy asks.

"You're so brave, aren't you? I mean, you came in here thinking you're just gonna turn this whole thing around, that you were stronger than me, and maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Well, what are you thinking now, Bellamy? Hmmm?" Bellamy turns his attention back to me. We hold eye contact as Murphy keeps going on his tangent.
