"This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark Station. Come in Ark Station. This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark Station. Please come in. please, please. Can anybody hear me?"
"Are you sure you have the right frequency?" someone asks.
"Yeah, I'm sure."
"You can do this. Okay?" Clarke reassures her. I am next to Finn, watching to make sure he doesn't stop breathing. Raven keeps calling on the radio but it seems like it can't reach. All of a sudden, another voice comes through the radio.
"This is a restricted station. Who is this? Please identify yourself."
"This is Raven Reyes. I-I'm from Mecha Station. I'm transmitting from the ground. The hundred are alive. Please, you need to get Doctor Abby Griffin. Doctor Abby Griffin. Now," Raven says. Everyone is relieved that we have finally made contact.
"Hang on Raven, we're trying to boost your signal," someone says.
"Raven? Are you there?" Clarke pushes forward at this voice.
"Mom? Mom, it's me," she says.
"Clarke?"
"Mom, I need your help. One of our people was stabbed by a Grounder."
"Clarke. This is the Chancellor. Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?" There is quite a bit of static making it hard to fully hear unless you are near it. I look at Finn and notice that his condition is getting worse.
"Yes, the Earth is survivable. We're not alone. Mom, he's dying. The knife is still in his chest."
"Clarke, is my son with you?" Jaha asks. Nobody says a word.
"I'm so sorry. Wells is- Wells is dead," Clarke says. It pains me to see her in pain but we need to focus on Finn right now.
"I'm going to talk you through it, step by step," Abby says. The dropship begins to creak and the wind is very audible.
"Clarke... just... find-"
"What! Raven, what's wrong?"
"It's not the radio, it's the storm." The storm outside keeps getting worse. Octavia walks in with two canisters. Octavia gets down next to me.
"Where's Bellamy?" she asks.
"I don't know. He went off with a couple of others a few hours ago. I was hoping he would be back by now," I say. Clarke makes her way over and gets on the other side of Finn. She smells one of the canisters and pulls away quickly.
"Ugh, Monty's moonshine?" she questions.
"Pretty sure no germ could survive it," Octavia says.
"Storm's getting worse. Monroe, close the doors," Clarke says.
"But we still have people out there," Monroe fires back.
"Monty and Jasper still aren't back yet."
"Neither is Bellamy."
"It's okay, they'll find somewhere to ride it out." Raven grabs Clarke's attention and holds out a needle.
"One stitching needle."
"Great, I still need something to close the wound."
"There are some wires on the second level. I used it for the tents," Octavia says. She goes up to get the wire and Raven and Clarke have a moment.
"Hey! They're back!" someone yells. Bellamy walks in with two boys dragging a grounder's unconscious body. They drop him on the ground and Octavia runs over.
"The hell are you doing?" she asks.
"It's time to get some answers," Bellamy says.
"Oh, you mean 'revenge'?" Octavia is pissed.
"Get him upstairs," Bellamy orders.
"Bellamy, she's right," I say. Bellamy looks at me angrily but not for long as the radio starts to click. He looks over surprised and I look away.
"Look, this is not who we are," Clarke says.
"Clarke?" Abby says over the radio.
"It is now," Bellamy says. He walks away without another word.
