It took a day or so to reach the Exodus crash site. Now, some of us are walking around the crash site, looking for signs of any survivors.
"Clarke shouldn't be out here," Finn whispers to Raven.
"Her mom was on the ship. She's looking for answers. You want to help her, find me the black box, hard drives, anything that will explain why this ship crashed," Raven says.
"Stay sharp. Grounder retaliation for what happened on the bridge is coming, just a matter of when," Bellamy warns. Finn and Bellamy continue arguing. I walk towards a pink substance on the ground but stop when Raven yells at me.
"Ash, stop!"
"Rocket fuel?" Clarke questions as she makes her way over.
"Hydrazine... Highly unstable in its non-solid form. If this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist," Raven explains. She picks up a rock, dips it in the hydrazine, and yells,
"Fire in the hole!" She throws the rock towards a small fire still burning and it causes a small explosion.
"We need to clear the area," she states.
"Okay, then. We move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot. We got to get back before dark." We quickly move through the site and finally start making our way back. I walk near the back with Bellamy as we head back. We walk in silence. He reaches down to take my hand but I pull away. I did not want to be touched.
"Hey, Ash," he says. I look up at him and see the concern in his eyes.
"I'm fine," I say. I push forward, not really wanting to talk. I am not mad at him, just want to be left alone. Everyone walks back to camp in silence. Once back at camp though, Bellamy is immediately alerted that Murphy made his way back to camp.
"Where is he? Everyone but Connor and Derek, out... Now!" Bellamy yells. He enters the dropship, leaving the rest of us outside. Finn and Clarke decide to go inside. I decide not to follow. Shortly after, Clarke comes and finds me, asking me to help check Murphy and make sure he doesn't have any life-threatening injuries. I agree and we go check him over.
"I'm sorry about how I treated you before," he says as I clean up his face. I don't say anything and he grabs my arm lightly to stop me. I look at him.
"I really am. It was a good punch," he says.
"I can't just forgive you like that Murphy," I say softly. I finish cleaning him up and leave the dropship. Bellamy is busy doing other things so I decided to go for a little walk, and unwind a bit. I had only been walking for maybe 20 minutes when I noticed that something was running down my face. I reach up and touch it, pulling my hand away to see what it is. It is blood. I immediately turn back to the camp but collapse into a coughing fit, coughing up blood. This is not good.
Bellamy's P.O.V.
I am in my tent when I hear a lot of yelling. Most of it is coming from inside the dropship. I make my way into the ship and notice that Murphy is sick and Clarke looks off as well.
"Bellamy, stay back," she says.
"Did he do something to you?" I ask. There are streaks of blood running down her face. She shakes her head. My attention turns to Murphy.
"What the hell is this?"
"Biological warfare. You were waiting for the Grounders to retaliate for the bridge? This is it. Murphy is the weapon."
