"Finn, do you see it over there?" Clarke yells. We are trying to find the ignition system but we are failing miserably.
"No," Finn calls back.
"Raven, we can't find the ignition system." No response.
"Raven?"
"I can't feel my legs," she says softly.
"Ok. Hold on. We're coming." The three of us pop out of the floor and both Clarke and I help Raven lean forward so we can look at her back. I lift her shirt to show a lot of bruising taking place around her spine. We don't say anything but it was enough for Raven.
"That bad, huh?"
"Raven, the bullet's in your spine. You are bleeding internally," Clarke says. We carefully lay her back down.
"We better do this fast then, huh? Get back down there," she commands. I move to go back down, wanting to get this over with when Finn says something.
"What if we can slow the bleeding? Would that help?"
"Well, of course, it would help. Can you tell me how to do that?"
"That stuff the grounders had... coagulant. You said that Lincoln had some too."
"Yeah, it's in the box with the antidote, but I..." I can tell where Finn is going with this.
"I'm better that there's more of it in his cave. If I can get there..."
"Wait a second. No," Raven says.
"I can make it," he insists.
"Clarke, Ash, tell him he's being an idiot," Raven says. I know there is nothing I can say that will convince him otherwise. He loves her.
"Raven."
"What? I'm not gonna let you die to save me," Raven says.
"You're the only one who can fire those rockets. If you die, we all die. I'll be right back," he says. He heads towards the door but Clarke stops him. I get ready to go back in to the floor, giving Finn one more glance before going back to work.
Bellamy's P.O.V.
"They're here," someone announces. I glance around, making sure everyone is in place.
"Where's Octavia?" I ask Miller.
"She left 5 minutes ago. Didn't say where to. She thinks she's a damn samurai," he says. I trust that she will be fine so I focus on the task at hand.
"You see anything?"
"No. What the hell are they waiting for?"
"The longer they wait, the better. This is about buying time for Raven," I say. We wait in silence and I slightly jump when Sterling starts talking over the radio.
"I see them. They're moving. I count two, three, no, wait, there's more. I don't know man. There's too many of them!" Guns are firing but stop abruptly.
"Who was that? Sterling, I think. South foxhole. South foxhole, report now."
"Yeah, yeah. We're ok. They didn't attack. It's like... it's like shooting at ghosts."
"There! I see them!" More gunfire starts. Everyone is paranoid and wasting bullets.
"Stop! Stop. Hold your fire! Hold your fire! Reload. Now. Those were our last clips," I say.
"We should... we should fall back," Monroe says.
"No. If this position falls, they'll walk right to the front door," I say. More people are talking on the radio and everyone is on edge. This is going to be a long and hard fight.
