I practically skipped to lunch. This is my chance! Though, my celebration was cut short when I realized something. Iida's chance as well... Oh well, guess I'll have to save him. I continued skipping, stopping for lunch and grabbing a seat. My table filled up quickly with my morning group, asking about the police case. "Hey, nerd." Kacchan said, gaining my attention. "When did you learn to hack?" I just smiled at him. I started being swarmed with questions. "Do you know the length of the knife?" "What's his quirk?" "Did the police find out what Freezerburn looks like?" I huddled in the corner, hands out in surrender. I felt a sweat drop appear on my forehead. A throat cleared from behind the crowd, pulling their attention. "Mr. Midoriya, a word please." Nezu said. I nodded and got up from the ground. I followed behind him, watching everyone else's expressions. Some looked surprised, while others looked worried. I just followed silently, smiling to myself.

I sat in the chair across from Nezu, waiting for him to speak. "Did you hack into the police's database?" Nezu asked. "What are you talking about? Someone broke into the police database? Do you know what they were looking for?" I asked. Nezu looked at me plainly. "You were telling your schoolmates about it this morning. Did you really expect me not to hear about it? Let me ask you a different question. Why were you after the Ingenium case?" I giggled scarily, looking up to the headmaster. "I'm only trying to help." Nezu looked at me confused. "How?" He asked. I shrugged. He sighed and asked, "How did you hack the police's database? It has really high online security, and you almost managed to slip through completely undetected." I just shrugged. I had done it before, so it wasn't a big deal, but Nezu didn't need to know that. Nezu seemed to be beginning to get frustrated when his face brightened. "It's all part of your mystery isn't it?" He asked. A small smirk graced my lips and I stayed silent. Nezu nodded and sent me back to my friends.

"He's figuring it out." I said as I sat down. I looked around the table to my confused friends, Shinso being the only one who understood. "20 bucks says he hires someone to tail you." Toshi bet. I grinned. "20 buck says he does it himself." Toshi looked bewildered. "Why would he add more to his plate like that?" I just grinned at his question, looking over my confused classmates again. "Nezu doesn't really trust people all that well. Plus, he could make more observations himself then he could expect out of someone he hired." Still confused, some of my classmates nodded. Toshi's face darkened. "I just lost 20 bucks, didn't I?" I nodded. "I should know not to make bets with you. Why do I do it anyway?" I just shrugged. Uraraka took the liberty to butt into the conversation before it could fully develop. "Um, who's figuring what out?" She asked. I smirked again and turned towards her. "Nezu's figuring out my big secret." Everyone looked intrigued. "What is it, Shitty Nerd?" I waved them forward, leaning closer as well. Then, I whispered, "I have Cancer." Shinso, understanding my joke, burst out laughing while the rest of my class had mixtures on shock and worry on their faces. The lunch bell rang, and I left.

"Alright class, since you are going to your work studies in a week, we'll be spending most of this week training. Try to create at least one special move. If you can't create one, try to think of one. Midoriya, try to learn some formal martial arts. We both know you've never had proper training before." I nodded at headed over to the area I was training at. There, I met my teacher. Ojiro came running over and hugged the man. They look similar. Dad? I guessed. My question was answered when Ojiro said, "Hey dad, what are you doing here?" Aizawa came over for introductions, shaking Ojiro's father's hand. "Mr. Ojiro is a world renowned martial artist. He specializes in all types, including the fighting techniques of the Samurai." I smiled at that. "You're gonna have to teach me how to wield a sword properly, but we'll get to that." Mr Ojiro looked confused. "Properly?" He quesioned. "I taught myself how to use one, including knives, guns, and bows. I didn't have much to do as a kid." I explained. Mr. Ojiro's face fell for a minute, saddened by my statement. "Anyway, if I have to learn a form of martial arts, I wanna learn at least a little bit of all of them. Then, we can go deeper into each category if we have the time.

Pain erupted in my side as I took another kick to the side. I fell to the ground and groaned. "Can you try fighting me before trying to teach me footing so we can see how far I need to go?" Mr. Ojiro thought about it before nodding. Finally. I got into my most comfortable stance and ran at Ojiro's father. He dodged my first attack and got back into his stance. I hooked his legs as I ducked a punch. He fell over onto his back, allowing me to throw a punch to his gut. He took my hit in stride before he hit me in my stomach as well. I coughed up some spit before completely ignoring the pain. Mr. Ojiro planted his foot on my stomach before pushing me off of him. I tumbled away from him, rolling backwards and using the momentum to right myself. I stood up and went to attack again. I sent a punch towards his chest, which he blocked and then I used my other fist to hit his side. Mr. Ojiro hit me with his tail, sending me flying. Using my agility, I twisted mid air and landed on my feet. As soon as my feet hit the floor, I raced towards Mr. Ojiro. I think I might've caught him by surprise, because I easily landed a hit to his stomach. He coughed, then tried to punch me. I dodged by flipping on my hands. I twisted myself, keeping myself supported. I kicked him hard in the side. He stumbled to the side a bit before turning back to me and throwing a punch at my chest.

I dropped to the ground, exhausted. Mr. Ojiro sat on the ground across from me. I was covered in bruises, some already blooming across my skin. Mr. Ojiro wasn't much better. Bruises spread across his body from head to toe. I groaned as I pulled myself off of the ground, walking over to Mr. Ojiro and extending my hand. He took it, and I heaved him off of the ground. "Well, thanks for the fight Mr. Ojiro, but I think we need to get to training now." He looked at me. "You know, if it's less confusing, you can call me master." I nodded, accepting his placement as my martial arts teacher. "Alright master, we need to start training." He nodded and we got started.

I flopped on my bed, my body aching. I laid there for what felt like minutes before I was shook. I opened my eyes and turned to see Papa. I groaned and let my face fall back into my pillow. I closed my eyes again and was close to falling back to sleep when Papa shook me again. I sighed and turned look at him again. "Come on Izuku. I know you're tired, but you've gotta eat." I heard my stomach growl and I sat up. I pulled myself out of my bed before immediately falling to the ground again. "Woah!" Papa said, catching me. When I had gained the ability to walk again, I began trudging downstairs.
