Deku's Pov

We were an hour away from summer and we had just been told that everyone would be going to training camp. Much to the delight of Mina, Mineta, and a few others, everyone got handed a list of things they would need for the trip. I looked over the list and hummed. The list consisted of things like a week's worth of clothes, deodorant, sleeping bag, etc. Easy things to get. "We should all go shopping together!" Shouted Uraraka. All the girls immediately agreed, then some of the guys joined in. when there was only a few people left, including me, Kacchan, and Shinso, everyone turned to us for our answers. Kacchan and Shinso also turned to me, wondering what I would do. I was about to decline so that I could get some vigilante work in when dad spoke up. "Izuku, Hitoshi, go with them." Everyone looked between Shinso and I, then to
Aizawa. I sighed. "I guess I'm going." Shinso also looked annoyed. I turned to Kacchan with a smirk on my face. "Ka~chan." I said sweetly. He grimaced, immediately knowing something was up. "You'll come with us, right? For and old friend?" He sighed heavily before begrudgingly nodding his head. I chuckled and the bell rang, signalling the end of the school year.

I walked into the mall and saw my class. They were waiting by the front of the building, but not blocking the way of anyone. I easily slid into the crowd, unnoticed. Everyone was talking in small groups, not paying any attention to the doors. I walked up behind Kacchan, who had presumably come an hour early, and stood there. He was "talking" to Kirishima, who was paying attention to Kacchan only. I stood on my tippy toes and lowered my head right next to Kacchan's ear. "Boo." I whispered as I grabbed his hips and pulled him back to me, scaring Kacchan and Kirishima at the same time. I let go of Kacchan's hips and stepped back as Kacchan screamed. "YOU SHITTY DEKU!!" I dodged the punch Kacchan had thrown at my head and laughed at him. "What's wrong Kacchan? Are your ears sensitive?" His face turned bright red. "Sh- Shut Up!" Kacchan's screaming had drawn many pairs of eyes, familiar and unfamiliar. "Hey Deku, when did you get here?" Uraraka asked loudly. "Just now. Shinso came in with me too." I said, pointing at me adoptive brother. Shinso scratched his head. "Hey." He said, sounding uninterested. "Now that we are all here, let's get shopping!" Mina said, looking like a hungry wolf that just seen a steak. I laughed at her face before grabbing Kacchan, Shinso, and Todoroki while pulling them towards me.

We split into smaller groups. Kacchan, Shinso, and Todoroki was with me, while Mina, Uraraka, Jirou and Momo were a group. Basically, the groups were whoever you were the best of friends with. Kirishima had debated whether or not to come with us before he decided to join Kaminari and Sero. My small group of friends passed a few sores before finding one with all the items we needed. Very convenient. After we checked out, we agreed to wonder the mall for anything that we wanted to buy with our left over money. "Hey guys, you should go ahead and get to shopping. I'm gonna head to the bathroom real quick." I said, turning towards the bathroom in the mall.

I stepped out of the bathroom, bladder refreshed. I was just about to walk into the store that held my friends when a hand enclosed around my neck. The grip wasn't tight, in fact it almost felt like it was meant as a gentle caress. I would've looked back to see who it was, but my instincts told me not to move. "Izuku Midoriya," a voice said rasped. I recognized the voice. "Shigaraki." I said, forcing my hands to shake and my face to look terrified. In all actuality, I was trying to suppress a smile. It wasn't a happy smile, but a smile nonetheless. "I wouldn't move if I were your. If I touch you with all five fingers, your neck will disintegrate. We wouldn't want that, now, would we?" I almost chuckled at his threat. Why would I be scared to die? I could probably kill you before I died from it anyway. I made sure to force my hands to shake worse and my face to look more terrified. "I know you from somewhere, don't I? I saw you during the sports festival, and the more I thought about it, the more you look like a rat that escaped from me a few years back." Shigaraki said, remembering me from the past. "He was quirkless as well." The second he finished his sentence, Todoroki walked out of the store. Before Todoroki could see him, Shigaraki was gone. An insane look spread across my face. My eyes were slightly larger that usual, and a smile occupied the bottom half of my face. Maniacal laughter escaped my mouth and Todoroki approached me with a concerned expression. "Such a funny guy. I can't wait until I kill him." I said, shifting my attention to Todoroki. "Let's go join the others, yeah?" I suggested.

Todoroki stuck close to me for the rest of the shopping trip, probably concerned for the citizens. Kacchan and Shinso saw how close Todoroki was sticking to me, and their eyes shifted worriedly between us. I looked at Todoroki and sighed. "I won't harm anyone in public. You're being concerned for no reason." I told him. "I found you laughing while talking about some 'funny guy' and how you 'couldn't wait to kill him.'" He countered. Kacchan's and Shinso's eyes widened and they looked at me. "Yeah, but I'm not going to kill him here. That would be stupid." Todoroki just nodded at my statement and moved a bit closer to me.

I got home from the shopping trip and sighed. Shinso walked in right after me, and we headed upstairs to pack. To keep it fair, Aizawa hasn't told us anything about the training camp. I headed downstairs to make dinner, making enough for everybody. I was tired, so almost immediately after dinner, I went to bed.

I woke up to the beeping of my alarm. I groaned, rolled over, turned it off, and stood up. I checked the time. I had been asleep for 4 hours, and I definitely felt it. I grabbed my vigilante suit and knocked on dad's door. I heard groaning from the other side and then the door opened. Dad scanned my attire and just shook his head. "Go by yourself, but don't stay out too late. And I swear to god, if you come back like last time you aren't going again." I nodded and exited the house. I hopped rooftops like usual, patrolling like usual, captured villains like usual. Then I saw something move. I slowed my movements, glancing around cautiously. A hero came into view. Did they get new patrol areas? Did something happen? I slowly followed the hero, making sure not to get caught. It seemed like he was just patrolling. I need to freshen up on the heroes' patrol routes. Suddenly, the hero stopped. They glanced around suspiciously before he enters a building. Curious, I follow him. I sneak in the door behind the hero and look around the building. It seemed normal until I saw the crowd. Women and men dressed in skimpy clothing roamed the floor. I watched the hero walk up to the counter, talk to the receptionist, then go deeper into the building. Before anyone could see it, I took off my mask. Can't have a vigilante sighting in... this place. "Are you new here?" A woman said sweetly. "Yup, and I was just leaving. Wandered in her by mistake. Bye now." I waved and walked out.

Hi guys. It's been forever. I don't have an excuse for this, I'm just lazy. Good news though! I'm almost finished with Shinigami on paper. I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I'm almost certain I have only 1-2 chapters left. WE ARE SO CLOSE! I hope you enjoy the series, and when it comes out, the ending as well. Bye guys, have a good night, or day, or whatever time you're reading this at.
