I have my first high school contest band performance coming up!

Tonight is the pre festival concert, and I'm so excited! Even though it's kinda late...

But not as late as the actual festival will be. We won't get back 'till possibly midnight. >.<'

But hey, busses are great for sleeping. And Jenna is comfy to sleep on so...I have part of the sleeping debacle covered.

Either way I'm super psyched! This music is amazing and emotional and it was quite difficult. I'll include a YouTube link to one (recorded by a professional band).

Yes it is six minutes. Please listen to it all, it's a beautiful piece that is well worth the time. Just play it, close your eyes, and let the music carry you. Unlike pop music it leaves you with deep emotions and a certain feeling only instrumental music can.

It's beautiful, and I promise if you just let yourself listen to what the music is saying the piece will move you.

My part is the second line from the top of the score. That is what the director uses to conduct us. It's a lot of music but I've learned parts of others music from it...

Anyway, this was random but no one around me really knows about what's going on in band!
