After watching the sunset, the stars would appear. Sprinkling themselves into the sky, Lucas and Athanasia would spend as much time as possible stargazing.
"Oh. Wow."
Looking up into the sky, the midnight blue color leaked onto the warm gradient of a sunset like paint spilling onto a canvas. Stars slowly revealed themselves, their light flickering in the beautiful blue.
"It's been a while since I've seen the stars."
"Mhm- but that's not the best part!"
Athanasia had throttled multiple people to get this information for Lucas.
Which is totally normal for best friends, right?
Athanasia flushed. No, I don't think it is.
"What's the best part?"
Athanasia, snapping out of her thoughts, smiled. "Well you see.."
"Oh!"
Staring up at the sky, Athanasia grinned. Just in time.
The stars streaked across the sky, lighting up the sky.
"Quick! Make a wish!"
Shooting stars. Athanasia throttled many people to learn that on this specific night, there were shooting stars.
