"Princess, pleasssee! I've apologized, like, 10 times already!"
"And that's not enough!"
The maids around murmured as the two argued. No one knew what was happening, everyone just witnessed a pissed off Athanasia storm into the castle with Lucas trailing after her sadly like a kicked puppy.
"Athhhyyy!"
The princess turned and glared at Lucas. "No."
The magician pouted. "I didn't mean to adopt a kid- I didn't even know they were following me!"

"How did you even manage to accidentally adopt a kid?"
"Ah- well.."
"Explain, Lucas."
"Uh-"
"Why did you adopt a kid, Lucas?"
The magician nervously wrang his hands. "Well, I was taking a walk.."
"Uh huh?"
"Outside."
"Okay?"
"And- well, this kid slammed into me."
"Go on..?"
"They said they were being abused.."
"Wait, what?!"
"So I accidentally set fire to a tree near their old house. And I guess they followed me."
