"They're nowhere in Whiterun," I say, returning to Aela. She swears under her breath and shakes her head, her red hair swaying as she does. "What do we do?"
"Find them," Vilkas snaps from behind us. We both turn around and look at him, and he glares at us both. "Farkas is with them. We have to get him back. Now."
"Vilkas, I know it'll be okay, they're warriors," Aela says.
"Yes, they are. But so we're Kodlak and Skjor, and when they were separated from their Shield-Siblings, they were killed. I'm not going to let Farkas die."
"And you think I want Red to die? Or have you completely forgotten about her, our Harbinger?" Aela demands.
"Don't pretend you aren't in love with her," Vilkas snaps.
"Watch it, Vilkas. There's nothing wrong with my feelings for Red," she says.
"No, there isn't, but you act like you don't love her when she's around, but the second she's gone, you're pining after her like a lost puppy."
"Vilkas! If you want to talk about lost puppies, think about how youre now acting about Farkas being missing!"
"He's my brother, Aela!"
"Okay, enough. We aren't helping them at all when we are just standing here yelling at each other. Please, stop. We have to figure out what exactly happened and why they took them, not be yelling at each other!" I exclaim.
Aela sighs. "She's right. I'm sorry."
Vilkas growls and walks off.
She shakes her head and turns to look at me. "Thank you, Safi, for helping us with this."
"Where are Xylene and Vorstag?" Aela asks.
"She's missing with Red, Farkas, and that new girl, Liethel."
Aela nods. "Vorstag?"
"Downstairs," I say. "Sharpening his weapons. He's just mad like Vilkas is."
She sighs. "This is not good. We don't know what to do, we have no choice but to attack their hideout. Once we find it, that is."
"How do we do that?" I ask.
"Keep an eye out for signs of trouble. Ask at inns to see what they say is happening, or talk to guards. Sometimes, they will let you know if something is going on at one of the abandoned forts nearby. I guess we will have to just bide our time. Wait and see what their next move is."
I nod. "I'll take some side jobs then, see if I can get out in the world and maybe find some info on them."
She nods her head. "That would be best."
