Aela brushes her hair back from her face, and she looks at me with a look of resignation. She looks at Vilkas and Farkas, the other two members of the Circle. Right now, the four of us are all werewolves. But the twins are thinking of giving up their beast sides, as they want to embrace Sovngarde when they die.

"What about you, Aela?" Vilkas asks.

"I'm keeping the beastblood."

Farkas looks at Vilkas then, shaking his head slightly. But I don't think Vilkas notices. He instead looks at Aela and says, "Are you sure this isn't about Skjor?"

Aela bristles. "What?"

"You and him were in love, we all knew it," Vilkas says. "I'm just asking if you're making this choice because he wasn't cured of his beastblood, so he's in the Hunting Grounds. And if you cure yourself of the beastblood, you won't go to Hircine's Hunting Grounds."

Aela's eyes burn with fury. "So what if it is about him? And so what if it isn't?"

"Aela, I'm not accusing you," Vilkas says.

"It sure sounds like you are," she snaps.

"Well, that's not my intention." Vilkas looks at me. "Red, are you going to cure yourself?"

"No, because there's nothing to cure."

"But you're a Nord. You could go to Sovngarde when you die, but not if you're a werewolf," Farkas says.

"I know that," I say. "This is my choice to make, so please respect it."

Vilkas and Farkas look at each other.  Aela stands up and paces. She looks around the Underforge and shakes her head, her red hair framing her face. She turns to look at me then, her green eyes burning.

"We do have something else to talk about, not just this," she says. "The Forsworn are kidnapping people in the Reach, and we need to find these innocents and bring them home."

"Why are they kidnapping people? What purpose do they have for that?" Farkas asks.

"Probably gonna sacrifice them or something."

The three of them look at me. I shrug.

"Well, it's something that we should check out. I think it should be Red and whoever she picks to be her Shield-Sibling."

"Probably should be all of us," Vilkas says. "If it's the Forsworn."

"Why don't we do a recon mission first?" I suggest.

"Good idea," Aela says. "Who are you going to take with you?"

"I think I'll take you, Aela," I say.

She smiles. "Good choice."
