We leave Windhelm and head towards the city of Whiterun, with Sinbil, Lydia, Rune, and Relfire leading me through the woods and towards where Rune claims we will be safe. We don't make camp, we ride through the night. By the time we have reached Whiterun, I'm exhausted and hoping for a bit of rest.
I don't get why Whiterun is suddenly a safe place for me to be, but I suppose it's because there's more of us now.
Sinbil stays behind with the horses, as Khajiit are not yet allowed in the cities (which is a rule I personally hate) and the rest of us head inside the gates of Whiterun. But instead of going to Breezehome, my house here, Lydia takes us to the Drunken Huntsman across the street from my house.
"Why are we here?" I ask her as we sit down in a room upstairs.
The room is big, but with us all in here, it's cramped. Lydia is sharpening her sword. She looks at me.
"My contacts are meeting us here," she says. "And one of them is going to meet Sinbil, because she's a Khajiit as well. But the contacts coming here are mainly elves."
I hear footsteps on the stairs on the outside of the door, and in comes a tall High Elf girl with green-gold eyes, light yellow skin, and — what is shocking to me. — Stormcloak armor. She looks at Lydia, who stands up and sets her sword aside, shaking the hand of the High Elf.
"Everyone, meet Imarea Thalmor-Slayer," Lydia says.
"Thalmor-Slayer?" I say.
Imarea nods. "I was raised by Nords. They gave me that last name because Thalmor justiciars killed my family. So they named me that because I aim to kill those who took my family from me."
"How did you manage to survive in that armor?" asks Rune.
Imarea looks at her, and smirks. "No one would dare to object when they see me."
"Why, though?" I ask.
She smirks again. "Because the Nord that took me in was Elisif the Fair."
