Nova's POV

"Are you shitting me? Why didn't you tell me when it happened the first time?" Tony utters, his hands dropped into his lap.
Bucky convinced me to talk to him before leaving for training.
"Because I didn't know! The second time I saw him, I realized what was going on." I respond.
Tony is another level of paranoid, and this time it's going to be even worst.
"There must be a way to find these people." Bucky chimes in, leaning against the bar counter.
"We tried. I'm still working on it." Tony reports, pouring himself a drink.
"Well, they got close enough to attack her twice. Obviously, there's more that we can do." Bucky rebuts, and Tony slams his glass on the counter.
"We? Barnes, refresh my memory... What are you doing here? The last time you were supposed to keep an eye on her, she got kidnapped in front of you! You let them take my daughter right under your nose. So don't come in here and tell me there's more I can do." Tony seethes, and I see Bucky clenching his jaw, but his expression changes quickly, and he looks at me, confused.

"Tony!" I gape at him.
He stares at me, and my heart skips a beat.
Did he just decide to divulge this information like that?
"Daughter?" Bucky lifts his brow at me.
I cover my face with my hands, breathing in deeply
"Guess that's why you changed your plan." He mutters, and my eyes dart to him again.
"I can't believe you had to drop that now." I scoff, glancing at Tony.
"Yeah, I'm a father, so what?" He narrows his brows, spreading his arms.
"You can't just keep something from the whole team and then randomly say it. How do you expect the team to trust you? How are they supposed to trust me?" I shout, feeling anxiety squeeze my stomach.
"We will do it now. Jarvis, call a meeting." Tony says, bringing the glass back to his mouth.
"What?" I utter in shock.
I'm pretty sure he's going to make me snap.
"I'm doing it now." He's clearly out of his mind. There's no other explanation.
"Oh my God, Tony." I groan, pacing back and forth in front of the panoramic window.

"What's going on?" Nat asks, stepping into the common area.
"She's my daughter." Tony waves a dismissive hand. Now I'm about to really come at him.
"For fuck's sake!" I stop my march on the spot in disbelief.
"What?" She looks at us, and I walk to her, taking her away.
"Nat, I'm so sorry." I begin, trying to explain myself.
"I didn't want to lie to you. I just didn't know how to handle this, and I didn't want to put Tony in a tight spot." I rattle on, and she looks at me with her brows knitted together.
"He's your father?" She interjects, and whatever I have left to say catches in my throat.
I sigh, nodding my head.
"Well, that explains a few things." Nat scoffs, and I lift a brow.
"Should I be offended?" I wonder, not sure if she's being serious or not.
"It's ok. That doesn't change who you are." Nat shrugs, and I gulp, feeling the lump in my throat dissolving.
"I know, but I kept it from you," I mutter.
"I understand. We're ok, really." The corners of her mouth curve up, and I smile back.
She wraps her arms around me, "You got two men under your father's nose. You got balls, girl." She chuckles, and I roll my eyes.
"Don't even go there. I can't afford to worry about that." I sigh, shaking my head.

Bucky's POV

"You knew, didn't you?" I ask, holding the beer in both my hands.
"Tony told me when he found out who she was. He ran several tests. She's a Stark." Steve says, taking a few sips.
I tap my fingers on the glass, thinking about the meeting.
"Well, they do act very similar." I consider as my mind starts to match details and behaviors I spotted in both Nova and Tony.
"Not really." Steve frowns, shaking his head.
"C'mon, they even stand in the same way." I scoff, finishing my beer.
"Yeah, but they are not the same." He states, and I nod.
"God, no. Luckily for her." I hold in a smile, thinking about her.
There are a few seconds of silence, and I hear a siren going off in the streets.
"Why did she come here?" Steve asks, staring at me.
My breath hitches and my mouth becomes dry.
