Chapter 11

Ben fixed his tie before pulling on his blazer and looking in the mirror at his new uniform with a frown on his face "this is hideous" he muttered to himself.

Ben ruffled his hand through his hair making it messy. There was a buzz from his phone which was on the bed.

Ruby- I'll be there in five x

Ben- aight x

Ben threw his phone onto the bed looking back into the mirror. He heard shouting knowing the two voices being Ola and Otis soon joined by Jakob.

Ben groaned picking up his bag and heading down stairs.

Ben just took a breakfast bar before leaving the house and waiting for Ruby to pull up.

"I wanted to beep my horn" Ruby frowned "go on then. I won't hop in yet" Ben waited with his hands on his hips as Ruby then beeped the horn, a smile taking over her face.

"You happy now?" Ben asked with a smile on his face. Ruby nodded "very. You've made my day by letting me beep the horn" Ben laughed shaking his head. "The things i would do for you" he smiled as he eyed his girlfriend "you look hot...and beautiful" At first Ruby smirked but then a deep blush formed upon her cheeks at her boyfriends last words.

"I do not do fake wool. This blazer is itchy as fuck" Anwar stated as he walked beside Ruby and Ben "tell me about it" Ben rolled his eyes fixing his blazer. "At least we look better in them than everyone else" Ruby smirked.

"Yeah"

"Not you" Ben rolled his eyes at Anwar. All three stopped in their tracks when someone stopped in front of them. "Hi, Ben. You look hot in your uniform" Amy bit her lip looking the boy up and down.

"I-"

"He's taken, Thompson. So why don't you go and be crazy with someone else, yeah?" And with that Ruby took Ben's hand pushing right past Amy. "Ugh the audacity".

Ben, Ruby and Anwar continued to assembly "why is she always on your hip?" Anwar asked Ben "she wants to get back together but I keep saying no" Ben replied "Well she wanna get the hint that your not interested then because your taken. Nothing slips through my fingers" Ruby stated.

The three walked into assembly taking their seats.

"Good Morning, Moordale. Don't you all look smart? I know this probably feels like a big change but you'll find that wearing a uniform creates a sense of unity and equilibrium" Hope stated.

"I don't even know what that word means" Ben said turning his head to Ruby.

"And speaking of changes, the choir will now sing the new school anthem, Nom Sebi, Sed Toti" The choir walked out on stage taking their places as Vivien started clapping.

"Why are they speaking in elf language?" Ruby asked Ben "you want me to be honest?" Ruby nodded her head "I actually don't know" he admitted "so you don't know what it means?" Ben shook his head as to say no "Not for oneself, but for all" Ben and Ruby looked at Anwar their mouths hanging open.

"I still don't get it" Ben whispered to his girl.

"Me either. Just go along with it"

The day was...shit as usual for Ben. Amy kept pushing him and flirting with him all day and no matter how many times he said "I'm not interested" she just wasn't going away.
