Chapter 19

Ben was sound asleep before he felt something touching his lips over and over again. He groaned as he practically forced his eyes to open.

Right above him was a tanned Brunette with a smile on her face. "Hi" her voice was husky, Ben couldn't help but smile "hey" Ruby leaned down and placed another kiss on his lips only this one lasting a little longer.

"Happy birthday" the girl noticed her boyfriends smile falter at the mention of his birthday. Ben didn't like his birthday for a few different reasons. His birthday was always ruined or crashed by someone. People made promises to him they didn't keep and left him. Bens birthday was always celebrated in his room playing Fifa or he would just lay on his bed playing colour switch or crying himself to the point he fell asleep in his own pool of his tears.

"Right. Its that day" Ruby frowned a little at the look on her lovers face. She knew he wasn't a fan of his birthday and she herself knew the reasons due to how close they had gotten. Ruby wanted to make this birthday special for him. She wanted to make him look forward and enjoy his birthdays, she wanted him to feel just as special like he made her feel.

"Hey" Ruby gently put her perfectly manicured hand on Ben's face and tilted his head so he was looking at her. "This birthday is going to be different. I promise you that" Ben rolled his eyes "heard that one before" he mumbled.

"Okay, yes you've been promised shit on your birthday by many people but I'm here now and you know i keep my damn promises. This day will be different and i have the best day all set out for you. Ruby Matthews style" Ben couldn't help but smile. How did he manage to pull a girl like her.

"Different huh?" Ruby nodded "and Ruby Matthews style?" Ruby nodded once again. "Does that mean there's going to be shopping involved?" Ruby went to speak but no words formed. She squinted her eyes and tilted her head to the side trying to think of what to say even though it was a simple yes or no.

"Im taking it there is shopping involved then" Ben spoke up once again, this time Ruby was quick to explain. "Okay, yes there is but its for a really good reason, and its for you not me" Ben's jaw dropped "are you kidding me!? I thought you liked how i dressed?" Ruby shook her head quickly "i do! And its not for your wardrobe...i mean formal wear" she shrugged lightly.

"Formal wear? Why do i need formal wear?" Ruby blushed slightly but she couldn't give away the surprise "i can't tell you that" she replied "What? Why!?" He screeched "because it would just ruin the whole surprise!" Ruby screeched back.

Ben quirked a brow "so its a surprise?" A smirk played on his lips as Ruby closed her eyes letting out a huff "I'm not telling you anything else" Ben groaned "whyyy" Ben dragged the 'y' out like a little baby.

"Okay, I'll make you a deal. If i give you an early present will you not ask me questions about what i have planned for you today?" Ben thought fot a moment "depends what the present is" Ruby swung her other leg over the other side of Ben's hip, so she was straddling him.

"I was personally thinking....me and you..." she leaned down so she was inches from her boyfriends face her lips brushing over his. "In the shower" she whispered with a smirk as she captured the boys lips between her teeth making the Milburn boy moan beneath her.

"So...how does that sound?" Ben was completely speechless, the nod of his head speaking for him.

Ruby got off from her straddling position and the bed and made her way to the bathroom, an extra sway on her hips as she did so. Ben watched his girlfriend disappear into the bathroom as a goofy smile appeared on his face "this is so gonna be the best birthday ever" he said to himself as he jumped from the bed, pulling his shirt over his head and throwing it to the floor.
