Chapter 14

"Your finally going to tell her?" Maeve asked in the group "Yeah. But I need all your help. I want to tell Ruby the truth and I am, but I still need to protect her. Can you guys help me?" Ben looked around at the group which included.

Adam

Otis

Maeve

Aimee

Ola

Sean

They all nodded "anything to get that crazy bitch off your back" Ola commented.

"So whats first?"

"Hey, babe" Ben greeted as he walked into his math class. "Hey, Benny" Amy greeted back in her flirty tone "wanna hang out today after school?" Amy nodded putting her hand on Ben's thigh "my place" Ben plastered a fake smile across his face "I'll be there"

The class flew by which was lucky for Ben since Amy kept on feeling him up.

Ben quickly left the classroom and meeting up with the rest of the group "I'm going to hers after school" Adam nodded "thats a good start. But don't have sex with her or kiss her just watch alot of Marvel movies or Lord of the Rings. Girls like her will get turned off easily. Especially if you know so much about it and pay more attention to the information of the movie than her" Ben nodded beside Adam "Thanks, Adam."

"All students to the assembly hall, please" everyone heard on the intercom. The group all walked together to the hall hut taken different seats.

"I've asked you all here to announce a new direction for your school. A fresh start. Moordale secondary will soon be known as Sparkside Academy. I'm sure you will have many questions, but our goals for sparkside will be made clear at our upcoming open day." Ben couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"We will also be inviting the press to show them that "Sex School" is a thing of the past. And speaking of Press, I'm sure you're all aware that our school once again made the news today." Hope held up the news paper that showed Lily Iglehart on the front cover.

"Take me now, Lord Vanon!" Evryone started to laugh.

"Shut up, Kevin!" Ben shouted back defending Lily.

"Yes, it was very funny, wasn't it? However, the part where they called us an "institution full of sexual deviants" was not very funny at all. It seems that there are some students here who get a kick out of giving us a bad name. And it has to stop. So, Lily Iglehart, Cal Bowman, and Adam groff, come to the stage, please." Students in the hall whispered as The three walked up onto the stage.

"Take a seat, please. From now on, punishment will be dealt with differently on this campus. Will your read that out, please,  Cal?" Hope handed Cal a small board.

"I am a slovenly troublemaker--" Cal started but was interrupted "a little louder, please" Cal scoffed before standing up.

"I am a slovenly troublemaker who doesn't care about my peers!"

"This is fucked up" Jackson stood up "sit down, Jackson...put the sign on, Cal" Hope gave another board to Lily.

"I don't think my story was dirty" Lily admitted "then why is everyone laughing at you?" Lily looked around at people whispering to one another and giggling. "Read it" Hope ordered.

"I wrote dirty and disgusting words which have brought shame on my peers"

Hope handed Adam his board but Adam was having trouble making out one of the words "Um, I can't read that word" he pointed "it says you are unhygienic. Because what you did in France was filthy and put your peers at risk--"

"Enough!" Rahim shouted as he stood up "sit down" Hope ordered "its supposed to be school, not somewhere we should be afraid." Rahim stated "Okay, your suspended. Leave. I said leave!"

"I am unhygienic and put my peers at risk"

Ben was the next to stand up from his seat."This is compelete bullshit! Its also Public Humiliation. Rahim was right, we shouldn't have to be afraid coming into school. Yes we are here to learn but school is meant to be the best years of our lives. The time for fun, but we can't even do that because you want to look good for the Press and the Papers or whatever the fuck it is." Hope looked closely at the boy.

"Ben Milburn, isn't it?" Ben nodded "I've also got a little something for you. Hope pulled out another board from the stand "I know you won't read it so I will." Hope cleared her throat.

"I am a dangerous peer towards other peers because of my love interests" She red out loud. "Am I correct in saying that you left your own brother in an awful state all because of a girl?" Hope asked.

"That has nothing to do with you"

"You were wearing the school uniform at the time of the scene so it has alot to do with me Mr.Milburn" Ben rolled his eyes "So I might have hit my brother, but brothers fight all the time." Hope stepped a bit forward "But am I right saying it was over a girl?" Hope asked again.

Ben looked around seeing everyone staring at him including Ruby. Ben stayed silent shifting uncomfortably on his feet.

Hope stepped off stage and handed Ben the board to put on him. "Follow me on stage, Please" Ben hesitated before following the order and going up on stage.

"You will not be allowed your phones for the remainder of the week." All four students put there phones into the basket. "No-one is to speak to these students. And you will not be allowed to remove your sign until I say so. Okay, Back to class" Ben Held the eye contact with Ruby the whole time he was on stage he only broke it when he heard the thud of the mic.

Ben had went to Amy's and stuck to the plan. Which actually worked because Amy was getting pissed and Ben knew she was texting other guys while they watched movies.

The rest of the week was also shit for Ben since he couldn't talk to anyone but it didn't stop him from going to the Forum after hearing the voice message vivenne sent.

The whole school got involved with the forum and worked together.

All they could say was that opening day was going to be something.
