Chapter 12

It had being weeks since Ben and Ruby's bad break up and already they were both dating other people.

Ben was dating his crazy ass ex, Amy.

Ruby was surprisingly dating Otis Milburn. How that happened Ben will never know.

The night replayed in his head everyday and he cried everyday. Seeing the hurt and sadness in Ruby's eyes really hurt him too. But he once told her he would do anything for her, and right now he was protecting her and her dad.

Ben and Sean actually got into a fight about it when Ben told him. Sean said he was a dick and wouldn't talk to him until he fixed the mess.

Ben's thoughts are interrupted when his phone buzzed beside him.

Maeve- how you holding up with Ruby?

Ben- still feel like shit. She's now dating my brother so she is over in the house a bit more so it pains me to see her.

Maeve- you should tell her the truth I'm sure she will understand if she really loves you.

Ben- I can't, She hates me now. Plus her and Otis look serious now and me and Amy are serious i guess.

Maeve- just talk to her. As much as I don't like Ruby I know she can be an understanding person. Especially when it comes to you because you bring out the best in her.

Ben- Thanks, M. I'll see you in school later, yeah?

Maeve- yeah. See you later, B.

Ben put his phone back down and groaned "I'm such a fucking idiot" he muttered to himself.

He picked up his bag and left his room only to walk out the same time as his ex girlfriend across the way. They both stared at eachother before Otis cleared his throat taking the two out of their gaze.

Ben looked at Ruby once more before going down stairs.

Maeve and Aimee both seeing Ben rounding the corner and heading they're  way. His face was red and he was out of breath.

"What's wrong with you, Milburn?" Maeve asked the boy. Ben held up a finger for her to give him a minute. "Amy chased me around the school begging for sex in a classroom. She got faster" Ben admitted straighting himself up.

"Have you talked to Ruby?" The Brunette girl asked. Ben looked behind him seeing Ruby talking with Anwar and Olivia. He turned back around to the girls in front of him skiing his head "No. I told you i can't if I do everyone will find out" Maeve rolled her eyes "you told me and Aimee" Ben put his hands on his hips "thats because I can trust you's. I needed to talk to someone to and you guys were there for me" Maeve sighed when she seen the frown on his face.

Aimee took this as her que to try and change the subject for the boy "Mmm. i cannot wait to eat baguettes with yous!" Ben and Mave looked at eachother before looking at the blonde in front of them. "What?" Maeve asked with a chuckle. "I'm being French" Aimee stated making the boy chuckle himself because of the bad accent.

"Oh, okay. Um, yeah, I'm not gonna go on the school trip." Ben and Aimee shared a confused look "why?" They both said in unison "'Cause it's too expensive" Ben looked down at the ground focusing on the one spot "its not that much, is it?" Aimee asked. "It is expensive. My mum freaked out when she saw how much it was".
