Chapter 23

Ben watched from Ruby's bed as she walked around her room getting ready for school. She looked as if she was trying to prove something by the make up she had applied since it had never been Ruby's style before. He knew for sure she was trying to prove something when she held a gay flag pin to her jacket.

"no that's too much" she shook her head and putting the pin down. "Why are you doing all of this? I thought you wouldn't care" Ruby looked over her shoulder at a shirtless Ben who was indeed naked under the sheets due to some morning release which was definitely needed.

"I don't care. It's a new look I'm trying out. You know, like, Ruby Matthews stepping out of her comfort zone and everyone looking up to me as always because of it" Ben rolled his eyes "so then how do you explain the bike then? Because never would anyone catch Ruby Matthews riding a bike in heels" Ruby knew Ben was right in what he was saying and she hated that but didn't hate it about him. She just hated how he could read her so well.

"Can you just get up and get dressed? We're going to be late" Ben rolled his eyes as Ruby walked over to her desk and looking at something on her tablet. Ben couldn't help but stare as his girlfriend bent over to get a closer look at the tablet. Ruby looked up at the mirror and seen Ben staring at her ass and quirked a brow when his eyes met hers.

"You've a nice ass!" Ruby rolled her eyes at her boyfriend and turned around walking over to the bed. "You need to get ready for school" Ben let out a small groan "can't we just stay home. I don't want to go to that shit hole" Ruby faked a pout.

"You don't wanna go in today?" Ben shook his head. "Why not? Are you sick?" Ben nodded weakly. Ruby let out a small dramatic sigh "well if you're sick then I guess we won't be having sex at all today or until you're better" Bens eyes widened as jumped up out of the bed.

Ruby laughed as she watched her boyfriend dart around her room and getting ready. Once Ben was finished getting ready and washing himself up. Ben stopped as he seen that knowing smile on Ruby's face.

"Oh god you played me again! You can't keep on using the sex card against it me it's not fair!" Ruby let out a small chuckle as she stood up from her bed. She walked over to the Milburn boy and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Don't be upset. If you're not sick then we can totally have sex after we get home from school" a smile stretched its way onto Bens face "I like that idea. I like it a lot" Ruby mirrored her boyfriend's smile before leaning up and capturing the boys lips with hers.

"I can't believe you actually made me ride my bike to school" Ben whined which caused Ruby to roll her eyes with a smile "you used to do it all the time" Ben scoffed "that was before I got with you. I can't even be near you or hold your hand or kiss you and you know that other from your lips I love kissing your neck" Ruby let out a small laugh.

"You'll be fine, baby" Ben almost fell off his bike at the nickname. It just sounded so sexy. They cycled onto the school grounds and Ruby tried catching some girls attention which was difficult at first but she eventually got what she wanted.

"How are you?" The girl looked at Ruby as she continued on her scooter "oh, are you looking to book an appointment?" Ruby shook her head "no, my sex life is perfect" she replied before she carried on with what she wanted to say "it's me, Ruby Matthews. We went to primary school together" Ben looked between the two girls confused.

"I think you have me confused with someone else. Have a great day" the girl continued on forward on her scooter leaving Ruby on her own as Ben pulled up beside her. "That scooter looks cool" Ruby shot Ben a look making him clear his throat "sooo rude of her..." Ruby rolled her eyes for what felt like the hundred time this morning but the small smile on her face indicated she wasn't mad at her boyfriend.
