Chapter 17

"I wanna take you out tonight" Ben stated from across his desk to Ruby "I'm busy" Ben rolled his eyes "your always busy these days. Take some time away from whatever your busy with" Ruby narrowed her eyes at the boy "I'm busy helping my dad, Ben. I'm making him dinner tonight since my mum is working the late shift" she stated.

"Rubes I miss hanging out with you" he did. The last three weeks he's had no-one.

Ruby sighed "why are you so desperate?" Ben shrugged "we haven't hung out in like 3 weeks, That could be one reason. Your also just hard to not be around that could be another. You-" "I get it" Ruby stopped the boy before he could continue "i just miss you and...I feel lonely. Sean has a fuck buddy now or summat and I'm kind of on my own since Maeve is in America and Aimee is busy baking. Otis and Eric have just bored me out. My PlayStation isn't helping because everytime someone scores in fifa I just want to throw myself out the fucking window and its really not helping that I'm incredibly horny" Ruby blinked at boy looking down at the desk before looking up at him.

"Wow"

"Yeah, Wow"

"You can come over then. Ben jumped up in his chair all giddy "But we are just watching a movie tonight no sex" Ben didn't care he just nodded happily. He hadn't hung out with Ruby in weeks and now he was going to again.

"Hey, Sean!" Ben greeted running up to his bestfriend "hey" Sean greeted back "Did you see the fifa update?. Do you wanna come over and play it before I go to Ruby's?" Just as Ben asked there was ding to Seans phone which obviously made the boy look at it.

Sean chuckled looking at whatever was on his phone "what is it?" Ben asked smiling trying to slightly look at seans phone only for the boy to clear his throat and put his phone away.

"Nothing. I can't do after school...I'm busy" Sean was already walking away from Ben. "What about the weekend then?" Sean shook his head "Still busy" Ben frowned and leaned against the lockers.

Otis and Eric both were walking past Ben "Hey do you guys want to play a bit of fifa before I go to Ruby's after school?" They both shook their heads "we're busy" Ben huffed and slammed back into the locker.

"I'll play some fifa with you." Ben turned his head and seen Adam Groff standing there with a nervous look on his face. "I can't get it and your looking to play it with someone so I don't see why I can't" Ben smiled and nodded "sure, yeah." Ben was actually kind of happy that he had someone he could finally play with.

"Hey, hey that goal was just cheeky" Adam laughed for what felt the 30000th time in the 3 hours "your clearly not as good as you said you were" Ben scoffed "I am too. I'm just a little excited to see Ruby later" Ben shrugged.

"Oh yeah. You and Ruby. How is that relationship going?" Ben was a bit surprised Adam was even asking him that question. Hell he was surprised Adam was even here with him.

"We are good. Today is the first time in in about 3 weeks we are actually going to hang out. We've both bee busy but we have stayed up late at night on calls to eachother making up the time." Adam nodded "I wish me and Eric had that mind of relationship" Adam frowned which made Ben confused.

"What do you mean? I thought you and Eric had a good thing going" Adam nodded " we do. Or we did. Eric kissed somebody else in Nigeria" Ben could see the hurt in Adams eyes "we are going to talk today. I can forgive him" Ben shook his head "Adam-" Adam stood up putting the controller back on the bed.
