The bar, Izzys Fizzies, called me in early. The bar. So I had to work on Sunday. I didn't have plans and I thought I'd get a lay of the land, just cause.

They just needed me from 5 to closing, which was 10. The bar is an odd one, it might just be my lack of not visiting many bars now a days but they served alcohol drinks, non alcoholic stuff, and even some food.

But working in the bar wasn't too fun. I was just waiting for Bucky to walk through the door everytime the door had swung open. Even though I felt deep down he wasn't going to come. I was just hoping, and having hope to see him was all I could do.
There was a lot of gross men. Espically around closing they got the worst. Who knew I'd miss the guys back in the day. But they weren't all bad.
Apparently this bars a very respectable bar so everyone tipped very well and there wasn't too many bad people.

They made me close though. All the other employees had completely ditched me to do the closing stuff all by myself.
I had no clue what to do
That probably why I shouldn't lie on my résumé.
I just wiped down the counters and cleaned up the back but that's all I did. Hopefully they don't fire me. I locked up the place and went to Dahlias house.

I wanted to tell her about my day but she had been in the shower when I came in. But when she was finished I had fallen asleep on her couch.

Monday i did absolutely nothing but watch television before work. The hours went by quick.
5 became 6 then soon 6 became 7 and so on

It had reached ten and once again my coworkers had ditched me. It was practically dead in there.  You could hear a pin drop.
There was radio in the back and I couldn't figure out how to use it for a little while but i got it to work. I found a jaz music station and put that on low.
By 10:20 I had found that they had a deck of cards so I just played solitaire for some time.
By 10:30 the door opened slowly. I looked up and

Bucky

"Are you still open?"
He asks me with a soft voice, halfway in the bar.
Absolutely we're open
"Yes. It's just dead in here right now"
I say with a smile.

Wow im being a lot cooler than the time at the crosswalk. Good.

In the sweetest tone I could say I ask
"Well what could I get ya?"
"Two beers?"
He asks
I nod and go and get them

He used to always drive five beers and that would be it. He would tap out of drinking after that, so I've never seen him blackout drunk and I never intend to. But if he's anything like Steve now that he's got the same sort of serum in him I'd guess he has an insane tolerance.

I slide over his two uncapped beers to him and starts to drink
"It's usually been busy in here what happened?"
He asks me
I shrug
"Started to work yesterday. It's been pretty quiet since I've gotten here. Maybe I'm bad luck"
I joke and he smiles

It's weird talking to someone you know when they can't even tell it's you.

"You're a lot like someone I used to know"

Well I stand corrected
I look up at him as I gather the cards I left on the counter
"Well thank you"

I go to put the cards in its place in the back and I feel his eyes watching me. He's trying to figure me out. But I'm not going to tell him, not yet.
