Chapter 37

When I went home I instantly called Dahlia telling her everything

"Ugh! And it was just so magical!"
I tell her after I had just finished my story, while I brush my teeth
"That is so cute. I really want to hangout with the two of you and see the cute couple as one"
"Oh shut up Dal"
I say rinsing my mouth then spitting the water into the sink

"You two should go on a date"
She says and I laugh
"I know you have date ideas so, spill"
"Wow. You know me so well. Anywho let me set the scene. It's night, it's a little later into the weeks so it's super cold. You two go ice skating-"
I stop her
"Veto. I cant ice skate"
I sit down on my bed setting the phone down as I pull my hair up
"Fine. You two could go to the carnival that's in town"
"Not a fan "
Dahlia let's out a huge sigh
"What else do you have"
I ask
"Dinner and dancing"
She, now defeated, says

I think
"Hm. Not bad"
"Ugh finally you are so hard to please"
My phone starts to ring but I ignore it for a moment to hear what dahlia says
"Speaking of please.. you two could just do hangout in his apartment and-"

"-Dahlia!"
I whine
"I already know where you're going and I'm hanging up. Bucky is calling me anyways"
I hang up and pick up the call from Bucky

"Hi buck"
I say standing up with my phone
"Hi. Did you get home safe?"
I let out a small laugh
"Yes. Completely safe"
"I just had to make sure"

There silence for a moment so then I say
"Is that all you called for?"
"Not.. all"
"I'm listening"
"I'm taking you somewhere tomorrow"
"Care to tell where?"
"Surprise. Just wear something you'd wear on a day to day and I'll pick you up at 5pm"
"I'll be looking forward to it"

"Bye buck"
"Bye dee see you tomorrow"
I hang up and just melt into my bed
The amount of butterflies he gives me and just over the phone..

I quickly get under my covers so that I can sleep as soon as I can to wake up to the thought of a mystery day with bucky

Waiting around for 5 felt like an eternity but once it was finally close I searched through my closet I found a great outfit to wear;
A white shirt t-shirt white a blue collar and some dark blue jeans with a leather jacket over top. Bucky from time to time wears a leather jacket and wore it when we were first at Izzy's Fizzies so I thought I might spice my outfit up with it.

Then I just added some gold necklaces and curl my hair but leave it down. Some black and white sneakers.

When it was exactly 5 I grabbed my bag and walked outside

To my surprise bucky was leaning on his motorcycle with his arms crossed.

"Well hi"
He says nonchalantly
"I'm on time"

I roll my eyes at his joke
"How long have you been here?"
"Couple of minutes, not that long"

"You look amazing. Leather jackets suit you"
He tells me walking closer to me
"I thought youd like it"
I say showing off the jacket

He's wearing fully black, like usual, but he looks great.

I put my hands on his cheeks and kiss him
Then he takes my hand, bringing me to his motorcycle.

When we got to the place Bucky told me to close my eyes. I could hear some yelling and laughing and I already suspected where we were but let Bucky have his fun. He took my hands then said
"Okay.. open"

I opened my eyes and looked around
Just as I thought
A carnival
"I would've never thought of you as a carnival guy"
I say to him

He shrugged then turned around to look at the place
"I'm not but you were. And so now I think I might just be a 'carnival guy' for you"

How does he even remember that
I used to go to our local carnival with all of my friends and boyfriends a lot but I didn't even think Bucky knew that

We walked in, Bucky and I hand in hand.

We went and played a couple of games until we came upon one of those ones with a water gun and having to shoot a target. Bucky and I went against each other but he won.

"Ugh you suck"
I say standing up
"You're the one who sucks at this dee"
He winks
I roll my eyes at him
"Shut up"

"What do you want"
He says motioning to two stuffed animals hung up under a "WINNER" sign
I point to the classic brown teddy bear looking one and the worker gives it to Bucky who gives it to me

"Thanks buck"
"Of course"
"Can we get food"
I ask and he laughs
"Sure"

We get some popcorn and sit on a bench

"Having fun?"
Bucky asks
"You don't ask if someone is having fun on a date"
"Sorry"
He laughs
"I am having fun though"
I say squeezing his hand
He takes my hand in his then kisses the back of my hand

"What should I name this guy"
I say holding the bear up infront of my face
"Mr..."
"Hm.. mr.."
"Mr."
He confidently says

I drop the bear to my lap
"Bucky you are so not creative"
"It's a great name dee"
He teases
"Fine Mr. it is"
I say and he smiles
