Chapter 38

We had decided to go on the Ferris wheel after that

As we go up I watch as we got farther and farther away from the ground
"I've always hated heights"
I say and Bucky chuckles
"Me too. But it's kinda fun"
He looks over the edge then back at me with a smile, which makes me giggle.
When we reach about 5 other seats from the ground Bucky says

"Ya' know how I said I've liked you since.. forever"
I nod
"Elizabeth's party with that closet game.. "
"Mhm?"
"Is when it got real"

I think back to that time
He kissed me for the "affect" but now I think that was just for him

"Is that why you kissed me"
I ask looking at him and he nods
"Buck.."
I say softly, stroking his cheek

He looks away blushing
I squeeze his arm and I could tell he started to smile

We had reached the highest point of the Ferris wheel
"Oo I don't like this"
I say carefully moving away from the side and closer to bucky
"Nothing to worry about"
He had sat back and put his arm back along the edge of the seat while I sat straight up, tense as ever
"I know.."

He lifted his hand up and started to brush his fingers through my hair
"You're alright"
He reassures me
I slowly sit back and sigh
"You're ok"
He takes my hand kissing the back of it

We had reached the bottom and i quickly got off and onto real floor

"Are you alright?"
Bucky asks following me as I walk away from the Ferris wheel
"Yeah I'm fine"

Bucky takes my hand into his and asks
"Well what next"
"We should go get ice cream. I saw a place when we were at the top"
Bucky chuckles
"I saw that too. We should absolutely go"

So we did just that
We walked to the ice cream shop that was not too far from where we were.
We both got a chocolate ice cream cone then went to their outside area to eat.

"We really should get some real food"
I say and Bucky looks down at his ice cream
"This is the realest of foods dee"
I roll my eyes at him

We just make some small talk and it started to get dark and cold.
So we went on buckys motorcycle and headed to my place.

We went inside together and we just hung out on the couch for a little while.

"It's getting late"
Bucky stands up to leave
"Oh don't go"
I whine reaching out for him
He sighs and sits back down

I take his face into my hands and kiss his cheek and he wraps his arms around my waist
"My boy"
I mumble and he looks me in my eyes
"What?"
He chuckles trying to hide his smile
"Nothing"
I say kissing his lips
Then I pull away and kiss his cheek then his neck then his lips
"It's getting late buck"
I say and I look at his and he was blushing
"Yeah I know"
He clears his throat
"You're blushing"
I point out making him blush more

"Well kissing me like-like that is will make any guy blush"
He lets out a sigh
"You're the cutest"
I say with a smile

He takes my hand into his left hand and he looks down at our hands
"You ok?"
"..Yeah.. sorry"
He says then kisses my hand

I pick his head up then kiss his cheek

"What do you think would've happened if we figured us out back in the old days"
Bucky says catching me off guard
"Well.. uh.. probably the same thing. Ya' know us being together then I would go here to find you"
"Right"
He says
