Chapter 15

We went out and sat on a curb in a parking lot of a closed down store.

We were both silent at first

"I forgot my jacket"
I say making Bucky look at me funny
"I really liked that jacket"
I cant help but smile
Without even saying a word Bucky takes off his suit jacket and placed it over my shoulders.

I let out a breathe then Bucky says
"I'm sorry"
I don't say anything so he goes on
"I didn't know what got into me just something clicked that I just was- I wanted this to be fun but I blew it"
I move closer to him and take his hand in mine
"You didn't blow it. I did.. I shouldn't have gone with that guy. If I didn't go with him we'd still be there"
"You didn't know. You just wanted to dance"
Bucky reassures me
"I wish every guy could be like you"
I say with a sigh putting my head on his shoulder
"W-what?"
He clears his throat. I looks at him
"Ya' know like respects people and is nice at the same time"
He nods

It's quiet for a moment.
"Do you wanna go somewhere?"
"Where?"
"I don't know"
"Ok"

Bucky stands up helping me up
"Like you'll go somewhere or..?"
"Yeah"
I smile

I take my heels off as we walk along the sidewalk.
Then we it started to rain. Slowly but surely the rain came down. So we hid under a bus stop bench by a park

"Now I'm glad I have your blazer "
I joke making him smile
"What should we do?"
He asks me. I shoot him a confused look
"About getting home."
He clarifies
"Oh. I could call a car."
"Could you call Dahlia?"
Bucky asks and I sigh
"We're not in the best place with each other right now. Not really on speaking terms."

I look out into the rain
"Remember when we would always play in the rain every time it rained"
"Yeah. And we would have specific outfits we all had to wear for our rainy day parties"
I smile at the fact he remembers that
"But our moms would yell at us that we would catch a cold"
"And you did catch a cold once dee-dee"
I laugh
"I protested I would get a cold and I did"

"We should go out there just for old times sake"
Bucky says
I look down at my dress
"Look at what I'm wearing. Look at what you're wearing"
Bucky shrugged letting it go

But on second thought..
I stood up and walked out into the rain
The rain quickly fell on me, quickly soaking my hair.
I held my hands out for Bucky.
"I was only joking!"
He shouts from me being a little far from him
"Well you have to now!"

I twirl in the rain. He gets up and rolls up his sleeves and walks out into the rain with me
He grabs my hands and spins me
"What about your dress?"
"Having fun in the rain is worth it to possibly mess up my dress."
"If it gets ruined I'll buy you new one"
I smile but take that with a grain of salt

We start to dance in the rain. Him smiling ear to ear and me not able to stop laughing. When he spins me out and spins me back once I spin back and catch myself just inches away from his face

"Hello"
I say quietly
He then picks me up then puts me back down quickly
"I'm beat"
He says falling to the ground
"Lame"
I say then open my arms and face my head up to the sky.

Then I face him and yell
"Ever since I was little I always wanted to kiss someone in the rain"
Then I start to frolic around.
"You have way too much energy"
He says getting up

I readjusted his blazer on me and start to shiver
"I'm getting cold"
I say quietly as we move closer together
"Me too. Maybe we should call a cab or a car soon"
I nod and start to walk away but he grabs my wrist
"One more dance before we go"
"Bucky I'm cold"
I whine
"Please dee"
He frowns and I obey
I go to grab his hands and just dance silly like we were before but he puts his hands around my waist under his blazer. So I put my arms around his neck and we start to slow dance
"Our cab driver is going to hate us"
"Absolutely"
He smiles
"You only used to smile a little. What happened?"
"I got something to smile over"

Hold on- what. I wanna elaborate on that but it doesn't seem right

Then he wraps his hands around me tighter so I'm closer to him

Then he kisses me
Yes
He kisses me

He lightly kisses me at first, pulls away then kisses me deeply.
I close my eyes and let the moment happen.

I was no longer cold and I was very aware I was kissing him
I moved my hand to his cheek.
We kissed each other like we needed each other to live.
He was weirdly a great kisser all things considered
I put my hand on his chest and I could feel his heart beating really fast. That's actually adorable. Bucky Barnes' heart beating quickly kissing me? I didn't think about it much since I was still kissing him

I would've gone on kissing him for eternity if I didn't slip on the ground and fall on my ass.

I started busting out laughing. Bucky kneeled down and held his hands out
"Yup that's a sign to go home"
Bucky says pulling me up
"I guess so"

"Well at least now you can say you've kissed someone in the rain"
He says as we walk back to the bus bench
He goes forward but I pause
My first kiss with bucky Barnes was because of a childhood dream.. not because he wanted to kiss me
It didn't hit me before THATS why he did it. I was so happy yet so disappointed

"You coming?"
He asks me seeing I stopped
"Mhm!"

We sat down on the bench and he pulled me toward him and put an arm around me

Oh what are you doing to me Bucky Barnes

Making my love for you worse

A bus comes as I was calling a cab company to come pick us up. So the bus driver stops and picks us up. The few people on the bus gives us glares.
