After that, going to see the sunrise became a routine for the two. Because of this the icy walls they had built up had slowly crumbled to dust. They had grown rather fond of each other in that time and soon began to enjoy spending time together. By the time two year had passed the two had become inseparable companions. Izuna had become like a little brother to Akame and Madara became her best friend.
"You know, my father left the village this morning and won't be back for a while so no one will notice if we go to the river today" said Madara as he stood from his spot on the stone pillar. Akame hummed in response as she watched the golden star rise from its slumber between the mountains. Madaras dark gaze softened as he watched the girl next to him. Her long bluish white hair blew in the breeze shining like water. The sun's golden orange light reflected in her green eyes like fire as it shone upon her flawless porcelain skin. A small smile grazed her pale pink lips as she watched the star before her.
"Where did he go? Is something wrong?" she asked as she looked up at the boy next to her. His dark black hair looked slightly blue in the sunlight as the breeze blew it around gracefully. His dark eyes met her green ones in a fond gaze. "The Uchiha were hired for something so he left to deal with it. Nothings wrong, don't worry" Madara said, flashing the girl a bright smile which she returned. " Oh that's good, if we are going to go to the river then we should eat breakfast first" she said as she stood up too. Weaving some hand signs and placing her hand on the ground she summoned a giant snowy owl.
"Yeah we probably should tell Izuna we are going out so he does not worry" said Madara as he jumped up on top of the owl and offered a hand to Akame to help her up. Taking his hand the girl nodded in response to what he had said.  "Yeah"
The two eventually arrived back at the castle where they ate breakfast with the younger Uchiha Izuna, who was babbling about this sword technique he was reading about. "That's great Izuna, Madara and I are going out, we will be back later tonight so don't worry," Akame said standing from the table and smiling at the boy."where are you heading?" he asked curiously "nowhere that concerns you brother" said the elder boy as he too stood from the table and exited the room, Akame in tow.
"I feel bad for doing this to him every time your father is gone," said Akame as the pair head for the gate. Madara shrugged his broad shoulders "it's fine he is focused on his training" Said Madara as the two stepped out into the snow. Madara summoned his falcon and the two climbed on its back.
Wind whipped fast there faces as the great bird flew into the land of fire towards the pair's favorit river where it landed and the two jumped off and walked to the water. Madara grabbed a few flat stones and bagan to skip them, Akame doing the same as the two competed to see who would reach the other side.
Madaras stone skipped gracefully across the clear water before sinking to the bottom like a cannonball a few feet from the opposite shore. Scoffing Madara picked up another stone and tossed it up and down in his hand."This time I will reach the other side" he said to himself as Akames stone splashed to the other side which angered the boy. She was better than him at this and that bothered Madara. Another stone soon flew past Madara's head and skipped to the other shore. Madara quickly looked behind him to see a boy with a funny hair cut and some ugly clothes. The boy had brown hair and warm eyes."Just aim it a little higher than you'd think, that's the tri- '' the boy was interrupted by Akames stone which she had picked up early colliding with his head. The new boy fell to the ground and landed on his but with a thud as he rubbed his head. "Ow"he moaned as he looked up to see where the rock came from.
His dark eyes landed upon an extremely pretty girl he had not noticed was there. The girl had long whitish blue hair with bangs wrapped in bandages that framed her face. She wore a strangely formal high-collared, light-coloured kimono held closed by a dark sash. The collar of the kimono was decorated with six magatama, three on each side. She wore black tall boots and a sceptical look on her face. Her abnormal concentric circular green eyes scanned over him like she was waiting for him to pounce or something.
Smiling brightly at the girl "who the hell are you?" Madara asked the boy as he got to his feet. The boy locked eyes with Madara ''right now I'm your stone skipping rival but my stone is already on the other side" he said cockily as he smiled at the raven haired boy. Madara was not having any of this boy's attitude as he proceeded to snap at the boy.
"Answer me, I asked you who you are!" Madara yelled, the new boy didn't seem to mind Madaras outburst as he simply responded calmly" First names Hashirama, but I can't tell you my last name" Madara scoffed at the boy "Hashirama huh, just watch me im gonna make it!" Madara said enthusiastically as he threw his stone across the water. Unfortunately it sank to the bottom of the river like all the others. Leaving Madara in a state of shock, his face was priceless, thought Akame as she bursted out laughing.
Madara rounded on the new boy and began to yell to vent his anger which only made Akame laugh even more."why you! You stood behind me on purpose just to distract me didn't you! I'm so sensitive I can't even pee if someone stands behind me like you're doing" hearing this Akame doubled over her stomach hurting from all the laughing she was doing. She could tell that they too were going to get along simply by the way they spoke to each other.
However Akame quickly stopped her laughing as Madara turned to her anger and embarrassment in his eyes. "Stop laughing!" he demanded. Hashirama stood there for a second in utter fear before collapsing to the ground and hugging his knees looking utterly depressed as he stuttered "i'm so-sorry" Madara blinked a few times he was not used to someone responding to him like that. Most of the time when he yelled, Akame would just yell right back, not collapse and ask forgiveness. "Uh, there's no need to get all depressed about it, ah I was making excuses" said Madara as he ran a hand through his silky hair. "I'm sorry," he added, which shocked Akame. He never apologized!
"Well I had no idea you had such an obnoxious self diagnosed neurosis" said Hashirama as he looked pitiful up at Madera. "You know Hashirama, I can't tell if you're a nice guy or just a jerk" said Akame or had refrained from joining in their conversation until now. Hashirama glanced over at the girl who had not really said anything but laughed the whole time. She had a pretty voice and the predatory look from earlier was now gone from her peculiar eyes.
Hashirama jumped to his feet laughing "well on things for sure, i'm better at stone skipping then both of you" the boy said cheerfully. A far cry from his depressed state earlier."ugh do you want me to skip you instead! You punk!" Madara asked harshly as he aimed a pointed finger at the boy. Hashirama once again collapsed into a depressed state as he muttered "sorry I didn't mean to make you mad, to make amends I'll let you throw me into the river. Go ahead, do it" Madara sighed "good grief, are you aware of your own obnoxious neurosis"
"It's just, I hope I reach the opposite shore" Hashirama said with a crooked smile on his sad face"YOUR SO ANNOYING LOOK JUST GET LOST!" Madara yelled. Hashirma signed "welp" he said as he turned to leave, but before he could Madara grabbed his shoulder and turned him around "wait" he said as the boy gave him a bored look "which is it why don't you try to be a little bit clearer"
"Well its-"
The two were cut off by the sound of water splashing and the sight of Akame running out on the water to crunch by a body floating by. Madara stared dumb struck as Hashirama ran out on the water to crunch next to the girl."he's dead" Akame whispered before quickly offering up a prayer for his soul. "This place will become a battlefield, you should go home!" Hashirama called back to Madara as he examined the armor and whispered"this is the crest of the hagoromo clan" Akame glanced at the shinobi boy next to her as she stood up straight. "Sorry but I have to go," said Hashirama in a grave tone as he leapt to the other shore and looked back at the strange pair.
"Later-" he called but stopped realizing he did not know the two names."First names Madara, not offering once last name to a stranger is shinobi law right" he said as he studied the boy across the water."I thought so, you're a shinobi too. . ." Hashirama glanced over to Akame as she stood on the water watching him, her white hair blowing in the wind like a goddess. Was she a shinobi too? She had to be if she could stand on water? But since she's a girl they are not allowed to be shinobi. "First name's Akame" she called back as she ran back to the shore and stood next to Madara with a bright smile on her face. Hashirama waved once more before disappearing into the woods.
Madara turned to Akame with a serious look on his face. "You should not have gone to check on that guy, now Hashirama knows you're a shinobi. That could be dangerous" he said "aw are you worried for my safety! Instead you basically told him you were one so what's the difference" Akame teased as she summoned the big owl. Jumping up on her back she looked down at Madara and smiled warmly at him."It's fine Madara, I think we can trust Hashirama" Madara watched Akame, his gaze softening as her bright smile reassured him.
