Al-An walked into your sea base and crashed down on the bed next to you, threatening to crush the bed and make a hole through the floor. You giggled and turned over to your side and looked at your giant alien husbando. "Tired?" you asked Al-An. "Very" Al-An sighed. "Heard from Riley that you finally came out of hiding" you said, shifting closer to Al-An to where you head was resting on his shoulder and you traced the lights on his chest.
Al-An only nodded and he dragged you onto his chest, sitting up a bit against the headrest. You leaned into Al-An's embrace wanting to stay like this forever. "Are you scared?" you asked Al-An after some time. "Yes, for you" Al-An responded, running his hand through your (H/L) (H/C) hair.
Al-An was worried that you would be taken away from him, and you knew. "No matter what happens I will never leave you, okay?" you say to Al-An wanting to comfort him. "Okay, and I will never leave you" Al-An responded hugging you closely.
Al-An thought back at his life, all the bad and good times. After he had meet Robin everything had changes so much, it scared him but it was also the best thing that had happened to him.
When Robin had told him that research wasn't everything not long after they had meet Al-An was puzzled. Research was all he had known. Now he realised that life was more than research.
