This Morning: Waking in a cell, pain, and guilt consuming me. This would never me up for what I did.
Today: Easy street, repeating song lyrics burning in my mind.
Tonight: More darkness, humming to insanity
Then: The screams of people I call family, an empty promise as another thwack rings into darkness
Now: Pacing, planning, sobbing
Forever: A guilt I can never avoid, faces I will see only when I close my eyes
