Sam smiled as he prepared the 'surprise' for his brother. He made sure everything was as perfect as it could be and plugged in the cherry pie scented candle into the wall and waited.

"Sammy!" Dean called. "Is that cherry pie?!" Dean came running just as Sam had planned.

"Yep, just for you."

"Why?" Dean asked quizzically. Sam was always against him consuming his favorite meal on the daily and in fact recently told him pie would probably be his cause of death.

"You did really well on our last hunt, and I wanted to apologize for all the times I told you not to eat it." Sam smiled sliding the pie over along with the fork. A nice glass of cold milk waiting to help his pie consumption.

"Well thank you for being so mature." Dean beamed as he sat across from it, the strong scent of cherry wafting into his senses. Sam smirked and waited, he slid to the side of his chair knowing he was going to need to run once Dean took the first bite.

Dean launched into the pie, his first bite was so guick Sam knew he didn't taste a damn thing or else he would have reacted to it. Dean took a slower bite the next time around and stopped mid bite spitting it out. "Is that lettuce?!!"

Sam smirked and took off running. "You need to eat more vegetables!" Sam yelled to him as he took off down the hall.

Dean sat stunned as he tore apart the pie, greens all greens. He turned his head to the side and spotted the plug in candle.

"Sammy!!!"

Sam laughed hiding himself behind a self full of books, Dean hated the library even in search of his larger yet younger brother hardly thought about the location.

Sam chuckled, he knew his brother didn't remember it was April first. The man had hardly any need to look at a calendar so he didn't unless it was a requirement for a hunt.

Dean stormed around the bunker lifting up tables and pushing around furniture. He looked under every bed in the entire place before he stopped at the entrance to the library. He shuttered but knew it was probably his best shot.

She slipped in silently and then he saw him. Sam squeaked as he was tackled.

"You mother fu-"

"April fools April fools!" Sam yelled as he was wrestled.

Dean stopped dead. "Wait really?"

"Yes god get off me!" Sam yelped as Dean ruffled his hair roughly.

"I'm giving you a pass but watch your ass little brother." Dean stood up and adjusted his flannel. "Ever trick me with pie again and you're going to hell."

"Crowley would congratulate me." Sam smirked watching his brothers sour expression. Dean eyed him.

"He would cause you're both psychopaths." Dean replied. "You don't mess with another man's pie."

"I thought it was you don't mess with another man's wife?"

"That's not as important as pie Sammy." Dean argued as he walked back to the dining room looking over the destroyed and disgusting excuse for a pie. Meat pies were the only exception, but that was disgusting in every single way. He sniffed the air and whined wanting a real pie and not a candle mirage. "Go to the store and get me a pie."

"If you ask nicely." Sam replied watching him with a triumphant look on his face.

"Please get me a pie before I send you to hell early." Dean seethed. Sam got the idea and headed out.

While he had to buy a real pie he would accept it as a win because he sure as hell got his brother and he knew he'd regret the bite he took without even tasting it.
