Omegaverse Steve/Eddie - How Many?

Eddie was watching the screen, his eyes focused on the blobs that were moving slightly. He wasn't sure if he could really see that there was a baby in there. Steve was watching the screen as well, his eyes softened.

"So, from what I can see," the doctor began, "is that you are having triplets."

Eddie choked on the water he was drinking. "How many?"

"Triples, that's three." The doctor said again as she began to point at the small blobs.

"Oh my god." Steve gasped, reaching for his mate's hand. "We are having three?"

"You are having three." The doctor repeated, Eddie couldn't decide if he was excited, or horrified. Three children for their first set? He had always thought he would have three kids, but not all at once.

"Oh my god..." Eddie repeated. "This is.."

"Amazing." Steve managed out as he placed his hand on his belly, terror was fueling him, but he was also so excited about their coming pups. They would have to figure out how to make it all work, but he knew they could do it. His parents were supportive enough, and they had Hopper and Joyce, Eddie's uncle was kind as well. He knew they would have help, Eddie began to shake a bit. Steve squeezed his hand tighter. "It's going to be okay, you're going to be a great dad Alpha."

Eddie calmed a bit. "Three is just, you know, two more than I expected the first time."

The nurse and doctor chuckled a bit, laugher being stifled, they had witnessed this many times, and Eddie was honestly doing better than they had seen from other alpha fathers.

"Do you think they will be betas or alphas? Maybe an omega?"

"Omega pups are usually born singularly, but it is too early to tell. I am unsure, too early to tell their designation or genders. They may be rare and be one of each, it's happened before."

Steve and Eddie held one another's hands tightly. "We do suggest you come in more often just because of the fact you are having triplets. It would be good for us to be able to keep an eye on them, just make sure they're growing right and doing well.

The two nodded, they would figure this out together, they both were just nervous. "Guess we better start coming up with names."

"Just to be safe we should pick like 6, three girl names and three boy names."

"We can always come up with gender neutral names."

"That would be good too." Steve agreed as he placed his hand on his belly once more. He was going to have three pups, not just one. His chest was swelling with pride, but he was also nervous. He would get huge, and he wasn't ready for that either. Eddie leaned down and kissed him softly.

"You're beautiful, and you're going to be a great mother. I'll be here the whole time, by your side." Steve blushed, and the doctor and nurse stepped out to give them some time. Neither of them could believe that he had three babies growing inside of him. "We can do this."

"We have to." Steve mumbled with a chuckle. "But I'm ready for it."

"I'm here for you omega, forever."

Steve blushed again and snuggled into his mate lovingly, he was so lucky to have a caring alpha, he knew he would be a great dad.
