Valentines day wasn't normally something that the bikers celebrated, but Jaskier would be damned if he didn't make them feel special that day. He had joined their little gang accidently, stumbling into their regular bar one night a little too drunk he ended up in bed with the white haired one they called The Wolf. Since then he had become an unofficial member of the biker gang. He wasn't technically only The Wolves, he bounced biker to biker. An unofficial mascot and groupie he liked to say. They even helped him pick out his own bikers jacket which he bedazzled. When they found out he was a singer and trying to become a local star they were happy to help, they got him gigs at all their local digs and even on their outward travels.
The biker gang was known as The Witchers.
They were partly a for hire service helping people feel safe, they showed up at court cases for children or women as body guards and to let them know someone was in their corner.
Jaskier saw the good in them, even when they didn't.
He wanted them to see that they deserved to be celebrated even for one day, as well as to take a break for themselves. They were constantly moving, usually didn't have a stable place except for with their 'father'. He had a a few locations around that country that they were in all the time and Jaskier found they would be home for the holiday.
Jaskier took an Uber to the local grocery store, purchased snacks he knew they liked, got some cookie dough and frosting to decorate them along with some sprinkles. He than found a stuffed animal in the isle for each one of them, each biker had a favorite and he knew while they were strong bikers who were selfless and put themselves in dangerous places on occasion he was willing to bet they would like something soft and cute. He also got a small bag to place the stuffed toy and got each one their favorite soda or snack.
A few were a bit of health nuts which he didn't mind, just found funny.
Their father, Vesemir, had always been kind to Jaskier since he joined the little group. Let him stay in his house without a fit, and even asked him to play music from time to time so Jaskier wanted to make sure he had something special too. He found a comfortable heated blanket, and got him a nice mug for the alcohol and coffee he consumed. Jaskier had found surprised the first time he had breakfast with the older gentlemen, the coffee certainly had a bit of a kick to it.
He purchased everything and made his way back to Vesemir's. He came in thankful he had been given a key so he could go in and come out without issue. He began to bake the cookies and placed the treats and stuffed animals in each bag. He also packed up Vesemir's gift and waited.
He knew they wouldn't be home for a while so he also managed to call a take out and scheduled it for a time when they would all be just getting back. He took a deep breath and filled out a card for each one of them while keeping an eye on the cookies, they each meant so much to him. Regardless of how he felt for them in a romantic manner, or as a father figure, he wanted to make sure they knew they were special and he thought that what they were doing and how they lived was just amazing. The way they helped people feel comfortable and confident.
Once each handwritten and meaningful card was finished he placed them in the bags with their presents and turned his attention towards the cookies. He pulled them out and let them cool while he cleaned the dishes so Vesemir didn't have to deal with it later. He sat each gift with a name tag on the counter and pulled out a platter and began to frost the heart shaped sugar cookies. He admired his work and checked the time, just enough time to place the sprinkles on top.
A knock at the door came and he quickly made his way to the door, take out.
He took the food inside giving the driver a tip and a sugar cookie before returning to the kitchen. He laid out all the silverware, the plates, and then he waited.
It wasn't long after the food arrived when the door opened, Jaskier left the kitchen to welcome them, and in walked Vesemir and his bikers.
"Jask, you're early." Lambert noted as he walked up to him, rubbing his cheek with his hand.
Coën wrapped an arm around his waist giving him a small peck on the cheek, while Geralt and Eskel did the same when they could. Vesemir smirked noting the smell of fresh baked cookies and soon he noticed the food on the counter once they made their way towards the kitchen.
"Jaskier?"
"Its valentines day." Jaskier said with a smile. "I know you guys don't do a lot of holidays just cause you're always out and about but we were home this holiday and I wanted to make sure you all knew how much I appreciate what you have done for me. For others too." The men smiled and they wrapped him in a bear hug. Jaskier giggled taking their embrace with a smile on his face, the group ate and enjoyed the fresh baked cookies. "I have gifts for you all too."
"You didn't have to do that Jaskier." Geralt said softly.
"I know that, but I wanted to." He chuckled as he brought the gifts forward. He handed one to Vesemir, than the others.
Vesemir was surprised he had given him a gift, he didn't interact with the boy anywhere as often as his boys did. He chuckled pulling the gift out. "Thank you Jaskier, I have been looking for a new blanket."
Jaskier nodded and brought over a bottle of whisky for him to put in his mug. "Thought you'd want this too."
Lambert patted him on his back, he also began to read the card. The others had also began to read their cards before getting into the gift and Jaskier could tell a few were chocked up by it. "Jaskier."
"I love you all, and I appreciate what you do for me and others. I want you all to know it, the rest of the gift is kind of silly but I hope you all like it anyway."
The men pulled out their presents and smiles covered their faces. Eskel was given a small goat plush, Coën a griffin, Lambert a wolf, and Geralt a horse. The men got up once again and hugged Jaskier peppering his cheeks with kisses. Vesemir smiled watching his boys with Jaskier, he loved his little family and couldn't help but appreciate that they had met someone so kind and willing to put up with their lifestyle.
He looked down at the pink, heart sprinkled cookie before him, maybe some holidays were good to celebrate even if they seemed a bit silly.
