Camp Wolf finishes off with fireworks, but even when it all ends the memories last

Witcher summer camp day 8 (final) sfw prompt Fireworks

----

Jaskier followed his campers down to the sands of the beach. He helped set out towels and chairs for them to sit on while Yennefer and Lambert worked on setting all the fireworks. Geralt and Eskel helped Jaskier with the younger campers before sitting back on the beach to watch the show as well. Ciri climbed on Geralt's lap, he smirked and pulled her into his arms for a cuddle. "Geralt," Ciri began.

"Yes darling?" Geralt asked as he adjusted the six year old in his arms better while running his hand over the braid. He looked to Jaskier with a soft grin knowing he had given her the braid.

"I don't want summer camp to end." She whined. "I made lots of friends."

"We can set up play dates with some of them." Geralt promised.

"Really!"

"Really little pup." He smirked kissing her forehead. "Now watch the fireworks, and you're more than welcome to come to camp next year little one."

She smiled big her grin toothy from a few losses of pearly whites within the last few weeks. Between her uncanny ability to run into things and just being the right age to lose teeth she had drained a whole three dollars from Geralt, because the tooth fairy still comes even if you're camping, during their summer camp experience.

Jaskier sat beside them with a soft grin. "I'll still be seeing you after summer too." Jaskier smiled booping her on the nose. "Geralt and I have become good friends."

"Really get to still see you!" She swooned happily. Geralt grinned, they didn't want to tell Ciri they were dating yet but they did want her to know that she wasn't going to stop seeing people just because the summer was ending. Ciri snuggled between them as the fireworks began to burst in the sky. Jaskier chuckled feeling her jump into his arms.

"Surprised this doesn't scare you when thunder does." Geralt mused winking to Jaskier. Jaskier blushed thinking back to the thunder storm that had ravaged the camp a while back.

"I know this is coming, and it's fireworks. Thunder scares you on purpose."

Geralt laughed and pulled him into his arms slightly squashing a squeaking Ciri between them. Geralt chuckled and let him go, Ciri snuggled into Geralt's arms. She was happy she could come to camp with her sorta dad. Jaskier smiled watching the two of them out of the corner of his eye while he watched the beautiful fireworks bursting overhead. The lake water reflected the colors which distracted many of the young campers.

Geralt looked down at Ciri who was too distracted by the bursting colors in the sky to be paying attention to them. Geralt pulled Jaskier closer and kissed him carefully as a red firework lit up the sky. A few of the kids noticed the kiss, but little Ciri who was now stationed in Geralt's lap had no idea why Jaskier was now sitting beside them red faced. "The fireworks are so pretty." Ciri clapped her hands.

"Yes." Geralt muttered his eyes locking with Jaskier's. Jaskier blushed deeper trying not to get in the way of the girl while she watched the fireworks. "Very pretty."

Jaskier chocked on his own words, he only scooted closer to Geralt as the fireworks continued to boom above them. Geralt smiled while he held Ciri and watched the remainder of the fireworks above. He had his girl and now his man while the beautiful colors burst on the star filled sky.

Summer may have ended but he was leaving camp with the world in his arms.
