Cas x Reader The pun store

Cas was walking around looking at all the things in the kitchen. You walked in your (e/c) eyes looking towards Cas. "Hey do you want to go to the store and help me get some stuff?" You asked.

Cas nodded. "If you wish (y/n)." Castiel said following you out to the impala.

"Car Ya excited?" You asked with a laugh.

"What?" Cas asked very confused. You only snickered. You drove to the supermarket and the two of you entered. "What is it that we are getting?" Cas asked.

"Well Cas I was thinking...just follow me." You said, the angel nodded and followed behind you. "Laundry detergent..." You said as you walked past the cleaning supplies.

"Well the tides have turned." You said as you picked up tide laundry detergent.

"What?" Cas asked, he saw a few teens around you giggle. He was beyond confused.

You chuckled as you placed it at the bottom of your cart. You walked past the candy. "You are the kats meow." You said placing the KitKats in the cart. Cas just cocked his head.

You walked past a few things when you saw a rack of different cheeses. You began to sing a song to Cas. "Sweet dreams are made of Cheese, who am I to diss a Brie?" He looked at you like you were a crazy person.

"Are you alright?" Cas asked feeling himself grow embarrassed from the store trip. You only nodded when you saw some watermelons.

"Cas grab my melons." You said, his blue eyes grew wide.

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"Watermelons." You said chuckling after wiggling your eyebrows. He gulped and walked to get some melons. He returned and placed them down. "Thanks Cas."

"Of.. of course.." he said gulping.

You chucked and grabbed a bag of mixed vegetables then some beets for Sam. He liked them in his salad. "Drop the beat." You said as you dropped them in the cart. Cas scrunched his eyebrows and screwed up his nose the angel grew more and more confused.

"Cas can we keep Raisin the roof?" You asked tossing raisins in the cart.

"Why would we raise the roof?"

"For fun." You replied.

"Cas I should ground you." You teased placing ground beef into the cart. "Or you could make it up to me. I mean you are a cutie." You said placing the halo oranges in the cart.

"What did I do?" Cas questioned. You of course didn't reply.

You walked past the different types of plants you could buy and bring home to use for food. "Oh you are kale-ing me smalls." You said. "But I always my thyme for you and Nicolas sage."

"Who is Nicolas Sage? Are you dying really?" Cas asked.

"I'm fine Cas." You replied seeing the final thing you needed. "I love you Cas, from my head to-ma-tos."

Cas looked up surprised. "I love you too, and Uhm What does a tomato taste like?"

"Tastes good Cas." You said kissing him. The angels face was bright red from the puns and the kiss. You headed back after paying and then brought in the groceries.

"You look afraid Cas." Dean commented.

"Never let (y/n) take me to the store again." Cas replied as he put away the beets.

"Ahh the pun master ruled again did ya?" Sam asked. You smirked.

"Oh course I did." You said as you put away all the stuff. You grabbed a candy kiss from the candy cupboard. "I could just kiss you Cas."

He turned expecting a kiss but rather got chocolate shoved in his face.
