Jaskier smiled as he watched the younger campers get ready to go down and swim and play in the sand.
Team Blue had a fun day ahead of them. Jaskier and Lambert had a sandcastle contest planned with popsicle prizes. The younger group was easily pleased by the cold treats.
Ciri giggled as she went running to the sand. She had floaties on her arms that made her wobble when she walked.
Jaskier sat beside her on the sand. The other kids went running all over between the sand and the lake. "Alright campers!" Lambert called.
The younger group lined up for their leader. Lambert smirked and clapped his hands. "Alright kids, time for sandcastles."
The kids smiled big and got into groups of four to build their castles. "Rules, four towers. A drawbridge and a moat."
The kids raced to make their sand castles each one happily playing in the sand. Some of the younger ones between six and eight were mostly throwing sand rather then actually building their castles which had been expected. Jaskier refereed making sure no sand got in anyones eyes while Lambert got popsicles ready for the kids.
When it was all said and done the kids had their sandcastles built and each had most of the main components needed. So lambert began to throw popsicles out to each team as their prizes. Jaskier smiled sitting back proud of his young blue team.
They were happily going back and forth to show off their builds and talk about the elements that went into it. Lambert and Jaskier sat back enjoying their own popsicles and listening to the kids chattering.
