Steve sighed, he was weeks from giving birth and he was tired. He had kept his job at Scoops Ahoy to ensure he and Eddie had enough money to raise their pup after he gave birth, Eddie was working three jobs, and Steve was only working this one after Eddie finally convinced him he was already doing too much.
Steve leaned back a bit, he could feel his pup's hands pressing against his belly. A group of beta women walked into the shop, they were looking over the many flavors. "Can we try a few samples?"
Steve only sighed, Robin was watching from the back window. Steve got each woman about six different flavors and he suggested different combinations that would taste good together as well as trying to suggest the banana split. The woman continued to chatter, a line was starting to form and Steve was starting to grow frustrated.
Robin's soft smile began to grow wide. Steve folded his arms. "Look, Ladies, can you order already?"
Robin chuckled and put another mark on her board that she had started since his pregnancy hormones really started to take control. The girls looked the pregnant omega over. "Sorry," they quickly each picked a flavor and paid quickly.
Steve lowered his eyes. "Sorry..." He muttered as they turned and left the store.
"Good job Stevie," Robin grinned. "Another one for the board."
"Shut it..." He mumbled with a grin. She offered him a waffle cone and he sat back to take a break. He really needed to chill, he placed a hand on his belly, feeling the little kicks. He smiled softly. He looked at the board, and sighed, he really did keep making mistakes.
