Our Little Surprise - Steve/Billy/Eddie

Eddie, Billy, and Steve were finishing up the rest of their preparations. Well, Eddie and Billy were finishing up the preparations while Steve continually asked if he could help and was continually told to sit down till the guests arrived so he didn't strain himself.

Robin and Nancy were the first to arrive, they had just been told to come to a party. Steve adjusted his hoodie and greeted his friends while his husbands were out in the backyard setting up the surprise. "Glad you could come, everyone should be here today."

"So what's going on, is there something special."

"Yes, but its a surprise." Steve remarked as they headed out to the backyard while Steve waited for the others to arrive. The next to arrive were Eddie's uncle Wayne, Hopper and Joyce as well as their kids El, Jonathan, and Will.

Everyone exchanged hugs and Steve brought hem out to the back where Eddie came running up to his uncle hugging him happily. "Uncle Wayne glad you could make it."

"What's the big news, has to be something for us all to come over for a BBQ."

"Patience uncle, patience." Eddie chuckled as he patted his shoulder and headed to check on Steve. "How are you Stevie?"

"Fine, really." He promised as Eddie followed him inside to welcome the rest of their quests who all seemed to come around the same time. Chrissy, Max, Dustin, Lucas, Mike and all of Eddie's DnD buddies. Everyone was finally together and they headed out to the backyard where the BBQ could officially begin.

Everyone was happy to talk and chat, a few catching back up after not having seen each other in a while. Billy was giddy and couldn't wait to see Max's reaction to what was coming, Steve was excited to share the secret they had been hiding for a while now. He was getting tired of wearing hoodies to every outing.

"So, I just want to say thank you all for coming. You all are our family, our close family and friends and we just knew you all needed to be the first we told about something special." Billy began as he stepped forward, Eddie dragged a box out from behind some bushes. The kids were all sitting on the floor waiting to see what was in it. "We have been planning this for a while now and we well.." Billy turned with a smile to look at Steve. "Stevie?"

Steve pulled his hoodie off and adjusted himself to sit sideways. Nancy, Robin, Chrissy, and Joyce were instantly squealing. "I'm pregnant, it's been a pain in my ass to hide this."

Dustin lit up and raced to Steve to hug him, Max looked to Billy with big eyes. "I'm going to be an aunt!"

Billy nodded and hugged his little sister as she began to chatter about teaching the coming child video games and skateboarding. Wayne started to cry, Eddie was like a son to him and this meant he was essentially a grandfather now. "So we have one final surprise." Eddie beamed as he began to pull the lid off the box. "We know the gender of our baby and we want all of you to know it too."

Everyone's eyes locked on the box as he finally pulled the lid off. Pink balloons rose out and bobbed in the air. "You're having a little girl!" Robin squeaked as she Chrissy and Nancy hugged him avoiding his swollen belly not to hurt hem or the baby. "Do you have ideas for her name yet?"

"Not yet, her three daddies are not coming to a consensus.. I'm sure we will get there eventually."

Hopper had a dopy smile on his face, all of these kids were like his own and this felt like his family was growing. He brough the three boys into his arms and hugged them tight. "thank you for letting me be a part of this." He whispered trying to keep himself from growing teary eyed.

Steve hugged him, his own parents were never around and after their deaths Hopper was like a father to him. Chatter continued as everyone went back and forth sharing their excitement and congratulations. Billy, Steve, and Eddie knew they had a family around them to help support their coming daughter. Names were also given as suggestions, but the three honestly didn't know what to name their baby but they knew they'd get there sometime soon.

All three of them were just too excited about the coming baby and were happy to share this experience with their family. Steve had the hardest time hiding the fact he was pregnant with both his emotions and the growing belly but he was most excited out of all them about the coming baby.
