Belly Table - Steve/Eddie Omegaverse

Steve was seven months pregnant with their first, and he found a use for his rounded belly. He was sitting on their couch, and placed his fries on his stomach. Eddie narrowed his eyes a bit confused as he noticed he didn't move them off as he grabbed for his drink. "Are you using our baby as a table?"

"No, I'm using my belly as a table. There is a difference." The omega replied with a grin, the straw hanging from his lips. "Baby bat hasn't come yet."

Eddie grinned, he got him to start using that nickname. They were due around Halloween after all. "I just find it funny."

"I seriously cannot reach the actual table if I wanted to." Steve griped as he reached for it, Eddie watched him move. He used both hands to push himself forward, but he was teetering.

"Alright don't strain yourself. I don't want to see you put our pup or yourself in a bad position."

Steve smiled and laid back placing the stuff back on his belly. He gave Eddie a lopsided grin as he returned to the meal before him. "You know it's actually kinda nice."

Eddie chuckled, he was sure he was going to see him use his belly as a table for the foreseeable future.

Two weeks later they were sitting around Robin's coffee table playing cards with Nancy, Billy, Jonathan, and Robin. Steve had a small stockpile of candy that was sitting on his stomach. No one had really noticed until he placed the cards in his hands on his stomach and reached for his drink.

Billy narrowed his eyes in confusion.

"The hell?"

"What?" Steve asked, everyone looked up at the omega thinking Billy saw the pup kick or something. They let out a laugh as they spotted the cards and candy pile laying on the top of his belly.

"It's a table." Eddie said. "That's what he has to say about it."

"If I've got it, I'm gonna use it. This belly gets in my way ninety percent of the time. I'm not gonna just bend over backward to reach a table when I've got one." He explained.

The others laughed a bit but continued to play. Eddie leaned over and kissed his mate lovingly. He sure was something.

The little group continued to play, Jonathan answered the door as pizza got dropped off. Eddie got himself and Steve a slice, Steve placed the plate on his belly with a grin. "It's a real nice table."

"You're funny 'mega." Robin said with a grin. They ate their pizza and the others were drinking their beers or soda when Billy had an idea.

"How much can we stack?"

"Stack?" Eddie asked curiously.

"On his belly table."

The girls began to grab plates and paper cups. Steve chuckled and sat back. Eddie began to snap some pictures feeling like this would be good to add to a photo album.

Steve watched as the plates and cups began to pile high. Everyone was giggling and laughing as they continued to stack the pile high. Steve let out a bit of a mumble as he felt a kick to the top of his belly.

The plates and cups wobbled before they fell to the floor. "Baby bat said no more." Steve giggled as they scrambled to feel the kicks. Plates and cups covered the ground like a giant puddle.

"We can't wait for them to come." Nancy and Robin said in unison, they couldn't wait to be aunts. Steve smiled as he placed his hand on his stomach, another few kicks coming.

"I can't wait either, but I am going to lose this little table of mine." He tried not to get emotional but it was damn hard.

He loved everything about being pregnant, the kicks, the added table, he hardly had morning sickness but Eddie was there for it all and that made it better and he had supportive friends and people in his life. He couldn't wait to bring his pup into the world, he knew how loved they'd be when they arrive, but being pregnant was nice for him and while he was ready for the next step and to grow his family he was nervous about actually giving birth.

He snuggled into Eddie who gave him a few soft kisses. "We can buy you a little lap table if you need one."

Steve sniffled and kissed Eddie back. He loved his pack, and he loved his mate.
