Meet The Parents~Thor (Part 3)

Y/N runs back where she came from turning down hallway after hallway, when she bumps into someone.
"Hey watch where you're going!"
Y/N looks up to see it's Loki.
"Y/N! I forgot you were coming." He looks at her tear stained face.
"Is everything alright?"
She fills him in on the entire situation from last nights events to todays. They walk to garden and sit down continuing their conversation.

"Wow that's a lot." Loki says.
"I know it's horrible. I don't know what to do!" Y/N puts her head into her hands.
"Don't do anything."
She takes her head out of her hands. Looking back at him.
"What?"
"Odin had the same problem with me when I first found love. I just ignored him. Sure he got upset and hardly speaks to me now but it took him off my back."
"I could never do that to Thor. It would crush him if his father didn't speak to him." Y/N says, heartbreaking for Thor again.
The two sit in silence for a moment, Y/N thinks.
"I have to leave. That's the only way."
Loki surprised by her words.
"What? No. You think Odin not talking to Thor would crush him. You leaving would kill him."
"Odin. I have to speak to Odin!" Y/N gets up and runs back to the palace. Loki tried calling after her but it was no use.

Arriving back at the palace she makes her way to the kings throne. She walks right up to Odin, head held high, confidence running through her body.
"Odin.. Your majesty. I've come to talk."
"I thought I said you were to leave!"
"I will."
"I just want to speak with you before I go."
He nods motioning for her to proceed.
She takes a deep breath and lets all of her thoughts spill out.
"Your son is an amazing person. He is the kindest, funniest, and most loving man i've ever met. I always wondered where he got it from, but he clearly didn't get it from you!"
"Excuse me!!" Odin says taken aback.
"You heard me! You treat your sons like trash and then become surprised when they rebel and not do as they're told. Your rules are out dated. You use these rules as an excuse to be harsh on Thor and Loki, when in reality you're just a horrible person."
He opens his mouth to speak but she raises her hand to silence him.
"You are not a perfect king! You need too stop acting like you've never made a mistake in your life, you have rebelled in your life, everyone has!"
She closes her eye sand takes a breath to calms down. Opening her eyes again she has softer features projecting on her face.
"I love Thor, with all of my heart. I could never make him choose me over his family. I will listen to what you want and leave here, even though it breaks me, I will do it if it means Thor gets to keep his family and his home."
A tears falls down her face. Voice cracking as she said the last sentence. She turns and walks away back to the room to pack.
