The Last Letter~Avengers

*Y/N snaps instead of Tony (it's quite long but it's worth the read if you feel like it<3)*

*SNAP*
Then silence. The enemies turning to dust and drifting away. They won. The Avengers won, but at what cost.
"Y/N...." Peter says running over.
Catching the others attention they all look over to see Peter kneeling down next to Y/N's body. In that moment no one knew what to do. Everyone froze. It didn't seem real, how could they go. Y/N was the heart of the team. How will they be able to function without their charisma.
"Hey Y/N. It's okay. We won, We won Y/N!" Peter says between sobs.
Tony grabs Peters shoulders and moves him back to Pepper. Taking his place next to Y/N.
"Hey kid... it's okay I'm here.." Tony says holding their hand.
Y/N's head slightly turns to him and shows a small smile.
"You're a hero. We'll be okay, you can rest now... tell the others we said hi."
Y/N knew they'd be okay. They were the Avengers after all. But hearing it from Tony made them feel better about leaving and then they closed their eyes, letting darkness consume their body.

-3 weeks later-

The funeral was nice, as nice as a funeral gets. The team was still dealing with Y/N's death. It's been so silent in the compound without the sound of their laughter. Everyone was sitting in Starks living room after the funeral, reminiscing about the times with Y/N, when Pepper walks in with a envelope.
"Whatcha got there Pep?" Tony asks point to the paper.
"It's a note... from Y/N." She says making the whole room silent.
"It was in the mailbox today. It's addressed to all of you." She hands it to Tony, taking a seat next to him. He opens the envelope slowly and pulls out papers. He begins to read it out loud.

"If you're reading this, then that means we won. I know you're all wondering how you received this letter, since i'm gone. Well I made this plan once Scott explained how he survived. I knew we would face off with Thanos again and I knew that if we ever had a chance at beating him someone would have to make the ultimate sacrifice, a sacrifice play as Rodgers would say."
That line earning a small chuckle from Steve.
"I am sorry for not telling you all before this, but you guys would've tried to talk me out of it. You all have helped me through so much, you all live in a special place in my heart, you guys became not only my life long friends but my family. To say thank you I wanted to go person by person, so here it is."

"Firstly, to Tony and Pepper. You two took me in after I escaped hydra and treated me like your own. You were so loving and caring, Morgan is so very lucky to have you as parents. I hope you have a life full of smiles and memories. Oh, and Tony, remember the wedding is about Pep not you, don't steal her spot light."
Tony and Pepper laugh with tears in their eyes.
"Next, Steve, Sam, and Bucky. I have so much to say about you but i'll try to keep in small. You three are chaotic, but you somehow balance each other out very nicely. You guys were there for me when my first months at the compound were overwhelming. Bucky you calmed me down from multiple panic attacks and kept me company when I couldn't sleep at night. Steve, capsicle, you gave me the best motivational speeches, making me feel like I could conquer anything. Sam, pigeon, your pranks on Bucky always put me in a good mood especially when I could participate, you three were like my brothers. I will forever be grateful for our times together."
The men look at each other and smile, tears falling down their face.
"Peter, Thor and Wanda you are my best friends. You taught me so much about myself. Peter you showed me all of the Star Wars movies and Wanda you helped show me that you could find love anywhere. Thor you showed me that I can love anyone I want. You also encouraged me to make a move on Nat which i'll always be thankful for. Speaking of Natasha, Clint you were the one who introduced us and without you I wouldn't have found my forever person, so thank you. I will always remember our fun hiding spots we would find all around the compound that we used so we could spy on the team. You all have made my life better and I will always remember you. I love you all 3000. See you in the next life."

And with that Y/N's words stopped. The last bit of their presence ending once again. There wasn't one dry eye in the room. Everyone was silent, crying in their hands or on the shoulder of their friends. They all missed their dear friend, wishing they could speak to them one more time. But at least they had this letter. The last letter to remember Y/N by.
