Y/N has always liked Bucky. Ever since they were kids she's been infatuated with him, but there's one problem. Steve. Being her older brother and best friends with Bucky he made it very clear that him and her would never be a thing. He went as far to make it a rule that Bucky Barnes was off limits. Bucky would tease her about her secret crush on him and laugh as she sat with an embarrassed and annoyed look. The one thing she didn't know was that he secretly liked her too. He would even go as far to say love. He's tried for years to make a move but she's never reciprocated, until one night gave him a sliver of hope that she did truly like him back.

Bucky plopped down on the Roger siblings sofa in their apartment. He had slept over multiple times before but tonight was different. He was set on showing Y/N just how much he desired her. He hears the shower turn on and assumes it's Y/N, Steve went to bed early since he had just gotten beaten up a few hours earlier. He waited patiently, listening for when the water stopped to make his move. The shower shut off and he heard the curtain being thrown back.
'Now or never.' He thought to himself. Standing up he confidently walked up to her door, opening it he peeks in and sees her by her dresser in a towel.

Entering her room he shut the door making her jump and turn around.
"Bucky! For god sakes, knock!" She pulled the towel tighter to her body. He stared down at her as he stalked closer.
"What are y-you doing?" She asked nervously.
He grabbed her face and smashed his lips onto her, pushing her against a wall. She closes her eyes and kisses back, her hands placed on his shoulders unsure wether to push him away or pull him closer. Realizing what's happening, she pulls away as his hand sips under her towel and creates distance.
"Y/N." He looks confused and reaches out but she moves away.
"No...no!" She huffed and brushes her wet hair out of her face.
"I-I can't do this. We can't do this! Steve told me-"
He puts his finger on her lips and smirks.
"Come on Y/N, don't tell me you don't like it." His head dips to her neck and places soft kisses.
"That you haven't been waiting for this moment."

She hums and closes her eyes, feeling flutters in her stomach. Snapping back to reality she pushes him off. He groans and stares at her.
"I d-dont like it."
He watches her try to lie and tuts.
"Shame, cause I did."
He walks towards her and her back hits the door, she sucks in breath at the contact with the cold wood. He leans close, his lips an inch away.
"Since you don't like it, I won't touch you again. I won't kiss you. But if you change your mind, I'm a few feet away." He backs away and opens the door, leaving her full of regret and longing for him.

-Time Skip-

Y/N had been thinking about Bucky for months, he comes back from war this week and she doesn't know if she can contain herself. She hasn't told Steve about what happened that night and it felt quite good to keep that secret, it was the one secret that they didn't share. Opening the front door she kicks off her shoes and locks the door before taking off her jacket. Hearing laughter, she was towards it and turns the corner into the kitchen.

Standing by the fridge with a beer in his hand was the man that took up every thought in Y/N's mind. James Bucky Barnes. He looked as sexy as he always did, him in his uniform just adding to that.
"Y/N! Come say hi to Buck!" Steve smiled and hugged her. She straightened her posture and walked up to him, she went for a hug but he moved back. The two siblings furrowed their brows at his movement.
"I haven't showered and I've been traveling all day." He smiled and nodded his head as a greeting. Steve let it go but Y/N didn't. When he said he would touch her again he meant it...what a dick!
