Meet The Parents~Thor (Part 2)

The sun shines bright the next morning. Offering hope and positivity after last nights blow up. Y/N slowly blinks open her eyes turning over to see the muscular god sleeping next to her. She smiles and leans over to kiss his lips. He hums in response.
"That was a nice wake up call." He opens his eyes and looks at her. She looked stunning. He loved how she looked in the morning, her crazy bed hair and her half open eyes looking back at him, paired with a dopey smile. He pulled her down onto his chest and held her for a while. There's no one else he would rather be with.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"Your needed in the kings royal room sir!" One of the guards speaks out behind the closed door.
"Tell him not now!"
"He said it's urgent and you must come right now sir."
"Ugh! Tell him i'll be right there." He looks down at Y/N and apologies.
"I'm sorry dear, I promise i'll come find you when i'm done. You could go walk around the kingdom in the meantime." He gets up and changes, leaving the room, he gives a quick kiss to her forehead.
"Have fun!" She shouts.
"I won't!" His reply making her laugh.
She gets dressed and tries to make her way outside. However the palace is so large she becomes lost, taking a wrong turn.

"Awe man! I knew I should've stayed in the room!" She says to herself. As she walks she starts to hear voices. 'Someone to give me directions!' she thinks to herself. Upon getting closer she recognizes the two voices. It's Thor and Odin. They seemed to be arguing, hiding behind a pillar in the hallway she listened in.

"Father give her a chance! You don't even know her!"
"I don't want to know her!" Odin shouts.
"Midgardians have no business being in Asgard. Just because she is your girlfriend, does not mean that rule bends."
"She is to leave here at once!"
"No!" Thor rebuttals.
"She is my love. She belongs here, with me."
Odin becomes more angrier as Thor becomes more stubborn.
"Well then I guess she can not be your love anymore!"
Thor stands frozen. Y/N's heart sinks hearing Odin speak.
"She will not be a good fit for the kingdom. She will bring her midgardian ways with her when she rules."
"Father... I will not leave her. I love her. She makes me happy.."
"Happiness does not make a kingdom. I will not allow you to be with her anymore. You are to find an woman here, who will properly rule as queen."
Y/N feels like she's going to be sick. How could he say this? She couldn't help but feel like it was her fault. If she wasn't from Earth this would different.

Thor looks up at his father. He is emotionless when speaking again.
"I will not do as you say. You may be king, but you are not my father anymore, not after this." With that he turns his back to him and walks away. Heartbroken.
