•Loki's perspective•

When we were younger, we learned that fairytales have happy endings. Every one ended with a happily ever after, however that's not entirely true. If only we knew that the world we were growing up in was far from a fairytale, maybe I would've done things differently...maybe she would still be here.

I stood there frozen, my legs would not move no matter how hard I told them too. I stared as Thor tried to bring back Y/N, her limp body laying on the dirt. She jumped in between a blade and me, I had my back turned, she was gone within seconds. If only I had turned around sooner, or healed her, she would still be here. But instead I stood and watched her take her last breath, I saw the once bright and beautiful eyes I adored so much drain and be replaced with a cold spaced looked. She was gone, my Y/N was gone. I fell to my knees and let out a breath, I had not been able to cry for I was too stunned to do anything. Surtur swung his sword down and lit the planet on fire. Thor came to my side and picked me up, throwing me onto the ship and we flew away from Asgard as it crumbled. Her body was left behind, for there was nothing we could do. At least that's what Thor kept telling me.

We were drifting in space on our way to Earth when another ship had blocked our path. It towered over ours and immediately I recognized it, fear taking over my body. In almost a blink of an eye Thanos and his children got on the ship, killing half of our population. I stood back and watched as he beat Thor, I didn't know what to do, I was never the hero, so I did what I knew best, lie.
"If you're going to Earth, you might need a guide. I do have a bit of experience there." I bragged and walked closer to the mad titan.
"Thanos, I Loki, Prince of Asgard, Odinson...hereby pledge my undying allegiance to you." I bowed my head and formed a dagger, swinging up my hand was stopped short as the stone was activated. I knew it wouldn't have worked, but it gave Heimdall and my brother time to create a plan or at least escape.
"Undying? You should choose your words more carefully." His hand wrapped around my neck and began to squeeze, I struggled but it was no use.
"You...will...never be...a god!" I choked out right before my neck was snapped.

I woke up and gasped for air, sitting up I looked around and saw nothing but a glow of white and sunset yellow around me. I stood and walked around, this must've been Valhalla.
"Loki!"
My head snapped as I heard her voice, the one person who made me happy. Y/N. I saw her laughing and running to me, her body crashed into mine and I clutched her waist.
"Are you real?" I asked.
"Of course I am, Love. I'm here." She pulled away and cupped my face. A tear had finally fallen and I smiled.
"I missed you My Dear." I managed to choke out and cupped her cheek.
"I missed you." She smiled and kissed me, it was as magical as the first time. This was definitely Valhalla.
"Now come, I've waited long enough." She took my hand and we walked into the bright light.
"You've been so strong my Love. I'm so proud of you and your sacrifice." She spoke as we approached a gate. The golden gates opened and she looked at me, squeezing my hand she grinned.
"After you."
I held her hand tighter and we walked in together. At last, I had her again and I was never letting her go. Maybe there was a such thing as a happy ending...
