Meet The Parents~Thor

"But what if-"
"Y/N they'll love you! Everything will be fine, I promise my love." Thor gently grasps her hand placing a kiss on top. Y/N blushes and gives him a peck on the cheek. He always knew how to calm her down when she was anxious. Thor and Y/N met when she joined the Avengers. She caught his eye the minute she walked into the room. Their eyes locked and she gave him a sweet smile. That damn smile. That's when it all started. They went on to date, now coming up on the 1 year mark she has been asked to go to Asgard and meet Thors parents. To say she was nervous was an understatement. She felt like she was going to throw up, or pass out, perhaps both.

Holding onto Thor they were taken by the Bifrost, heading to Thor's home world. Once they arrived they were greeted by Heimdall, soul protecter of the Bifrost.
"Welcome back Thor!" Heimdall says as the two hug. He glances over to you.
"And hello to you...?"
"Oh. Um. It's Y/N." You respond reaching out your hand to shake his.
"Ah Lady Y/N. It's lovely to meet you. I've heard many things about you."
"Have you now? I hope all good things." You say eyeing Thor, raising your eyebrows. He just chuckles at your reaction and grabs your hand leading you to the kingdom. It was absolutely beautiful, just like Thor always described it. It was sparkling with gold tall buildings, everything was so clean and put together. The people joyful and in gorgeous clothing. They arrived at the palace, Y/N looking up at the large castle. It felt like a dream, the building looked like it was taken right out of a story book. The two lovers take to their room to unpack and to get ready for dinner with his parents.

The dinner was going amazing. Thor's parents seemed to love Y/N. Especially Frigga, she was going on and on about how Thor could never stop talking about you when he would visit home. She shared embarrassing stories about him from his youth, making you fall more in love with him.
"So Y/N tell us what you do down in Midgard." Odin asks sipping his wine.
"Earth father."
"She knows what I mean." He snaps at Thor.
Y/N clears her throat and begins to talk.
"Well i'm an Avenger. I joined about 1 and a half years ago, and i've loved every bit of it. Meeting Thor was definitely the highlight of joining!" She says putting her hand onto his shoulder.
"Awe well isn't that the sweetest!" Frigga says out loud, looking at the adorable couple.
"That's nice dear. Where did you live before joining the team?"
"I lived in Missouri."
"On midgard?" The king asks.
"Yes! I was born in New York but I left it when I got older. I decided to come back and join Shield." She says giving a slight smile.
Odin sits upright in his chair. His once soft welcoming features turning into an icy cold exterior.
"You fell in love with a midgardian!" He shouts slamming his hand on the table, causing Y/N to jump at the noise.
"Father! Do not yell in front of Y/N!Do not disrespect her!" Thor quick to defend you.
"She is to leave this planet and never return!" With that he gets up and storms out.
"I'm so sorry!" Frigga rushes to catch up with the angered man.
Y/N looks up at Thor, he was furious. Taking his hand into hers he starts to relax.
"Why don't we go bed. It's late." She offers, and the two get up heading to their quarters.
