Chapter two

No one Pov

Balls bouncing and floor squeeking are getting tuned out by the heavy rain.
"Wooooh its soo cold!" Commented by shivering Noya who just entered the gym and is tackling Tanaka who laughed at him a minute ago.

"Is there a storm? I didn't hear any on the news tho..." said Daichi before recieving a serve from Kageyama.

"Hmmm..."replied Coach Ukai checking something on his phone.

"I hope it blews away soon so you guys can go home safely."Takeda sensei said while fiddling with his papers.

"Especially you Hinata. You live 30 mins away from here on the mountains." Worried Sugawara tapped Hinata's shoulder who was busy pleading Kageyama to toss to him. Hinata only nodded.

"The sun is crying..." Hinata nonchalantly spoke.

"Ever heard of water cycle?, shrimp?"
Tsukishima snickered. "I-I know that stingyshimaa!! What i said was a methanol!!" Answered the tangerine. "You mean methaphor?" Tsukishima was now clutching his stomach from laughing.

"Y-Yeah that was what i was going to say!!" Retorted the flustered tangerine while everyone in the gym is now laughing and chuckling.

"But dont you think its a little too dark?" Curious Asahi asked while looking outside. "Oh Yeah! I heard theres a Solar Eclipse today!" Yachi said earning a nod from Kiyoko while all the other went 'ooo'.

" Eclipse huh" said Kageyama under his breath before tossing to Hinata and did their usual quick. "Waaahh that feels good everytiimee!!" Hinata was now jumping up and down forgetting their topic.

It was already 7 pm but the rain hasn't stopped yet. Everyone already went home while Hinata is still waiting for his mom's reply.

"Hello shoyo?? Im gonna pick u up since u can't ride your bike today its too dark and slippery okay?" Hinata Akari- Hinata's mom was on the phone.

"Ok Mom i'll wait for you!!" Answered the tangerine happily before ending the call.

Hinata Akari was driving downhill when suddenly-

CRASH!!

Branches covering the road

Glasses flying away scattered on the ground

And a mother's last breath covered in blood and heavy rain...

Hinata Pov

I wonder where mom is right now i cant contact her since she's driving but i can't shake the nagging on my stomach. I went to Coach Ukai's store down the road to maybe see a black cab my mom would be driving but hours passed and still none. I left the bike outside his store while i was soaking wet.

"Oi aren't you supposed to be home now? And your getting my floor all wet!" Coach asked with a hint of worry on his voice before giving me a towel. "No its just, mom still isn't here and im getting worried." I answered and coach hummed in acknowledgement while turning on the tv showing the news.

--'A huge tree tumbled down the road and caught a black cab with a woman inside dead. The woman was identified as Hinata Akari'-----

I froze...

Overwhelmed with shock refusing to believe and accept what the news just spat. "Hinata-" Coach ukai was cut off as i ran out as fast as i could.

'No no no no no this can't be real i must be dreaming..... she's not dead.... she's really strong she's not.....dead.....

Right??

I ran and ran untill i arrived at the location not minding the tears concealed with rain on my cheeks as i passed through the crowd and officers.

"Mom!!!" Everyone is now looking at me but i don't care. 'I want mom...i need mom she's alive...they must have gotten it wrong'...

But seing the too familliar black wrecked cab and a glimpse of orange hair on the driver's seat shattered my world. I ran towards her trying to open the door but it woudn't budge. I reached through the windòw ignoring the broken glass piercing my skin. 'This has to be a dream please!!'

A huge tree crashed down on the back part of the cab barely missing my mother's body flat.

"MOM!!!" I cried as officers were trying to take me away from her limp body. "NO!! U HAVE TO SAVE HER SHE'S STILL ALIVE!!!! SHE'S..please!"

I cried as i stumbled knee first on the floor begging them to save her. I saw a glimpse of coach ukai heading my way.

'Its not real please someone, anyone tell me my mom isnt dead!!' I cried louder as coach approached me and tried calming me down but it was no use. My mom is dead...she's not here anymore...

And it was my fault.
